My first time in Sam’s Burgers. The friendly waitress enthusiastically recommended dishes to me, and I successfully completed my order. The fries was enormous, and the burger felt hefty in my hand, so I knew this place would be special. Sure enough, the burger was tender, juicy, and had great texture. The fries were thick and soft, perfectly suited to my taste. I also tried Dr. Pepper for the first time—it had a different flavor from Coca-Cola, but I really liked it. I’m thankful for the delicious food and the charming smile, and I’ll definitely be back again.

I ordered food from here from door dash and expecting just to pick up my order not met with next level unprofessional customer service. I definitely do not recommend. Almost $20 for a menudo and a drink. Plus a shocking $1. Charge for soft drink refills…… unheard of! By the way small soft drink was $4.07 after tax. See pictures attached

Food was lacking in taste. I havent been here in a minute, but the food is definitely missing the flavor from the Don Clemente era. The mojarra was only seasoned on one side. Rice was lacking in flavor and a lil dry. The menudo wasn’t very flavorful, lacked spice, and minimal serving for a large and the price. Service was good. She was attentive and food was served in a timely manner. Ty Don Jorge, you know I love ya…but something was definitely amiss this time.

Sam’s Burgers in Pico Rivera is a local gem with a huge menu of Mexican and American favorites. I always go for the breakfast burrito, pastrami burger, and carnitas tacos—everything is fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The portions are generous, the service is fast and friendly, and the place is always spotless. Highly recommend!

I’ve been here a couple times already and I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but whoever is running this establishment needs to reevaluate their menu items. The people here don’t know how to make real Mexican breakfast and it’s really disappointing.

Im not racist or nothing but this being a family owned Latina restaurant the burger was probably the worst I tasted the environment was messy smells and the drinks flat fries half done but they were friendly need to do better with sanitation and hire a better chef

What can I say about this place? The best Menudo and Posole in town! The girls are very friendly and always get my order right. You can even bring your Pot from home to fill after a night out.
