Came for the first time while visiting the area, wasn’t super impressed. Waitress was very nice, food came out in a reasonable amount of time but wasn’t very good. I ordered the southern fare. The sausage gravy is more like a white gravy with very little sausage in it. My eggs were cooked well and the sausage patty was ok. The biscuits were big but very dry that I couldn’t even eat them. I did tell the waitress they were dry and she said they get like that so fast. I also got a side of shredded hash browns. They weren’t crispy at all and some were very chewy. They did offer many other things on the menu, I’d come back and try something different but otherwise I wasn’t super excited about my breakfast.

This was a quick stop during a 1.5 hour lunch break. Service was quick and friendly. Food was okay. Slightly over priced. $3.59 for coffee.

This my first time coming here with my son we get seated there is like 4-5 servers just standing around was seated for 10 mins before anyone came to my table someone comes in and they get a server Right away and then that’s when they realize that no one came to check on me and my son the server that came over. Had a very bad attitude. I’ve heard really good things about this place so I thought I would give it a try. Don’t know if it’s the color of my skin or not but my experience was so bad. server never once came to the table once waited another 15 mins for the bill

Really liked this old family styled restaurant. Good food and good service. I was there at a busy time on a Sunday morning. Seated quickly and ordered a ham and cheese omelet. Food was hot and tasty.

Update 7/8/25 the food was very good, the place had quite a few people in there and the waitress and other staff were very polite. The waitress even came over a couple of times to refill my cup of coffee which makes a big difference with me.OLDER INFO: My wife had the mild chicken riggies & I had the beer batter fish fry with home fries and I put gravy on them & I chose broccoli. The food was good. They’re open until 9pm on Fridays. Both of our waitresses were good. The only thing we didn’t care for was the use of a loud vacuum cleaner for several minutes. All customers kept looking around during this time waiting for it to stop.

Food was great as always. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was a bit louder than normal, there was a very large “party” of more then 10 ppl. My husband and I have been coming here for years and now we bring our kids! Another great experience.

(Edited review) We have been back several times since we found this place and have always had good food and service today our 39th anniversary we decided to go here for that reason alone the food was still good but we ordered a antipasto dinner salad to share as a appetizer we recommend NEVER get one there was barely enough lettuce to cover the bottom of the bowl a few forkfuls is being generous.and then there was 3 small pieces of dry pita bread triangles thrown on top no bread. Our dinner were good except there was no bread or grated cheese for the manicotti hopefully the waitress was newer half of what we asked for we didn’t get and no refills on our coffee that was empty in place of the appetizer manicotti and po roast were good
We stumbled on this out of the way place and it was a good find we had the seafood combo it was good except they switched the haddock for a stronger flavored fish without informing us! That was a bit of disappointment for big seafood eaters . The hostess and waitress were exceptional the food was good and plentiful. The atmosphere was was nice you could have a nice dinner conversation without competing with loud music and obnoxious staff. We really enjoyed it. And are looking forward to returning

Breakfast: There are a couple of Southern-influenced items on the menu and plenty of super sweet breakfast confectionaries.
We had the turtle stuffed french toast (which was too sweet to finish, unfortunately), and the florentine benedict (which had eggs cooked through, rather than poached with a soft yolk). Both were good besides the small issues. They were nice enough to make the eggs with the english muffin on the side. I see that they’re hiring for many positions, so perhaps this isn’t the best measure of their capabilities.
The staff were all very nice, and the restaurant is comfortable.
We paid $32 for the french toast, eggs benedict, and two coffees.

We go out to breakfast every weekend, we seen the news article on WKTV that they were opening up a 2nd location and we never heard of them so we wanted to try.
Here’s how it went:
1. My husband had lipstick on the side of his coffee cup.
2. We waited 45 minutes for our food. The person dropped it off and immediatetly turned around. Even with us having empty cups on the side.
3. Took 20 mins for waitress to come check on us after getting our food to get drinks and syrup for my husbands now COLD pancakes.
4. We paid for pancakes he took 2 bites out of because they were cold. I was done with my food way before the waitress finally came over.
I hope they re-evaluate their waitresses and how they run it before opening a 2nd location. We came, we saw, we tried it, we wont return!!
