I Frequently visit The Belvidere Oasis about every month on my way home.I wanted to try something different other then McDonald’s or Panda express and I was surprised after ordering a footlong a white lady changed me for double Ham Even though I only asked for regular ham and turkey footlong.In all I was originally supposed to pay $12.49+Tax instead was charged $19.49+Tax.In all the white lady making the sandwich’s is possibly scamming people and charging extra without people noticing.I saw someone also return including me to ask why she changed me extra and her response to me was “Ham is Ham” It seemed like she doesn’t speak English well.I don’t recommend this subway location when this lady is working the night shift (After 4pm)Because she is possibly scamming people
The other Gentleman that is Asian that also works after 4pm (sometimes)seems much nicer and doesn’t scam out of peoples money.I Will never order from this subway again when this white lady is working.

While traveling on Interstate 90 west, I recommend visiting this location. Due to dietary restrictions, the staff has consistently ensured that my needs are met. The manager is friendly, attentive, and proactive in identifying my specific requirements. It is commendable that she is the manager, as she has worn a top that reads “BOLD,” which serves as an inspiring example. While some establishments within city limits may not be as welcoming or tailored to individual needs, this location has consistently provided exceptional service.

Absolutely the worst Subway experience I’ve ever had. I ordered 2 wraps through the app on August 28, 2025. The prices were nearly double compared to other Subway locations across the country. The toaster wasn’t working, so everything was served cold. Both wraps were tiny, with barely any filling – only a couple of pieces of meat and very few vegetables, even though I added extras. The wraps were about 1/3 the size of what I normally get at other Subways.
As a truck driver who eats at Subways nationwide, I can honestly say this location is by far the worst. After my experience, I checked the Google reviews and saw many people complaining about the same issues. I will never come back here!

Would not recommend, refuses to accept national Subway coupons even though the coupons state they are valid in all states except Hawaii and Alaska.

There was grl and guy and I asked for extra veggies and said I will even pay for extra veggies but instead of putting extra veggies guys was breaking the green peppers with hand and trying to spread it like extra veggies. Very annoying, don’t know what customer service mean. Will never go to this location again and will definitely aware this to headquarters.

Most skimpy and overpriced subs and salad we’ve ever had at a Subway. The man working was rude and seemed irritated. The gal was nice.
Rotisserie salad had maybe 2oz of meat (honestly I’d be surprised if it was much more than 1oz) was very small, and was $12!!

Skimpy and short as ever. And will charge you for extra napkins. They give more bread than anything. Maybe it’s just this location, but I feel cheated and will forever pass on this location.

I would like to talk to owner because the girl at night shift seemed to be least interested in customer service, i ordered veg delight and she gave me little portion of it and charged full price. When I asked her how can you charge that price for that little portion than she added little more but mostly lettuce . I am Canadian truck driver and i travelled to all over USA i have good experience of subway in USA but here seems to be a different case. She should learn some courtesy.

Was not impressed. Food was really overpriced, the bread and veggies were not fresh, and when I paid by credit card, the cashier working decided she had earned a tip and reached across from the register to the credit card machine and gave herself a 20% tip.
I was in a hurry and didn’t want to waste time reversing a $2.00 tip nor do I want to waste time disputing a $2.00 charge with my credit card company. I’m all for tipping and would have tipped her, but she should not be reaching across and giving herself a tip. She was lightening fast doing that too, definitely not the first time she has done that.
Between this place being so low quality and the Starbucks no longer being in the Oasis, I will be finding another pit stop on I-90 before I reach Chicago. This used to be my go to stop before I hit Chicago, it will be no longer.

I normally like Subway. However, there was a large sign advertising 8.99 for a 6 inch meal deal that included a drink and side item. Our total came to 13.00 each as we ordered two. The person working there said there was no way to ring up a meal and he had to charge us for each individual item. The corporate Subway was of no help!
