A friend of mine and I dined at Sweet Chili for dinner the other day. I have frequented SC since college and have watched local favorites come and go while Bozeman evolves.
This restaurant has done an amazing job at maintaining their exceptional customer service, food quality and offerings.
We were also served by a younger gentlemen, local to Bozeman, attending MSU. He was so kind, made it a point to ask us thoughtful questions, and did an amazing job during a busy rush!

If you do not have this place on your list when visiting Bozeman, you better add it! This was hands down the best nigiri I have ever had in my life! The drunken noodles (1 bison and 1 chicken) were excellent as well. Friendly and attentive staff. 10/10 recommend.

This place is hit or miss. While the craft cocktails were good(mango mojito and japanese old fashioned), the food was nothing special. The drunken noodles were overpriced and tasted like old meat. The sushi was average. The special app was tuna tartar atop of a tempura shiso leaf. This was creative and flavorful, but the last time we will eat here as there are many other better options around.

Having visited tons of countries all over the world, I can quite easily say this is one of the best Asian fusion restaurants I have ever been to! Not only is the food incredible, but the service is top-notch as well. When we visited, we ordered the jumbo shrimp and it had a sauce so exceptional, I would die to have the recipe. We also got an alligator main dish, which, being from Florida, I had slights doubts at how good it would be.
Surprisingly enough, it was better than anything I had at home! And these were just daily specials on a random weekday – not even regular menu items! I can’t even begin to imagine how wonderful the other items on the menu are.
Sage was an exceptional waitress and kept us engaged, making the experience very enjoyable. Definitely one of the best waiters/waitresses I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. My girlfriend is gluten-free, and not only did Sage go out of her way to explain all gluten-free items on the menu, she was willing to have the entire kitchen cleaned to allow for zero cross-contamination! That is not something a normal restaurant does, and it was such an amazing gesture.
I’ll definitely be recommending this restaurant to anyone who visits Bozeman!
