The food was amazing!!!!!!!!!! The fish was hot and fried to perfection…… the potato salad…omg!!! And the sweet potato pie!!!!! To die for. I will definitely be back. The service was great everyone was nice. If you have never been here you should go and try this restaurant!

Boss Hog has been around for years and I haven’t had this place in about 5 years. I can say that the chicken is still seasoned well BUT that’s the only thing that’s seasoned. The Mac and cheese was dry and had a bunch of noodles and not much cheese. The greensbeans were the same and needed some extra seasonings and flavor. They gave an extra piece of chicken (little drumstick) I was excited at first glance but took a bite and noticed it was older than the rest of the chicken. I had to wait 20 minutes for food that was already prepared and lacked flavor. Beisde the chicken which carried the entire tray everything else seemed to be on a hot plate or under a hot lamb of some sort to keep it hot not truly fresh.

Food was excellent! Mac and cheese just like my Gma used to make. Portion size was good, $8 for fried fish, 2 sides, and choice of bread. Cash only, though. It’s probably better if you call your order in but still be prepared to wait. No inside dining today, tables were available to wait at. DON’T expect anything fancy… It’s a hole in the wall type of place but the food is good, greasy, and phenomenal for an indulgence.

They have just remodeled the restaurant and it looks great . The prices are fair , and bring cash , no cards transactions.
