What an experience! This Indian restaurant is a true gem in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. I’m not vegan but I sure as hell enjoyed every single dish brought out to me. Everything was savory and full of flavor. The food was seasoned well and very filling. I wish I could have finished it all. The sliders and the tacos are delicious and really surprised me how good they were. The 2 curry combo is phenomenal and a must if you visit. Check them out and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I visited LA for 6 days. On the first day when i was finding restaurant, I finally got this one on Google Map and i was happy because it is only Vegetarian restaurant and offers all India food.
When i visited it, it was awesome.
The food was scrumptious .
I visited this only Indian restaurant in my trip to LA for four times.

Wow .. we found out a place in DTLA where we can have some nice Indian food and we are definitely happy about it.We ordered a take out of papdi chat and tulsi special masala dosa. They have a free lassi Yelp check in offer as well. The texture of the mango lassi was much lighter when compared to the conventional thick lassi and it was delicious with the right amount of sweetness.Papdi chat didn’t quite entice my tastebuds as i felt it lacked flavor and chat masala.I hope they rectify that. For me, as a South Indian, the tulsi masala dosa was the star with tasteful masala wrapped within the soft dosa. The sambar was especially good here when compared to the bland sambars I had in different places. The chutneys were good too. Their menu offers a wide variety of vegetarian Indian food and I am definitely returning to this place to try on their other delicacies.Overall a good experience.

Cute vegetarian Indian eatery in the heart of downtown LA. Very clean and well maintained place. We ordered the Mango Lassi, Paani Puri, Vada pav and Idli Vada. All of them were delicious and not too spicy. The vada pav portions are too small for the price.

Nice and cozy little Indian cuisine joint. Great for Indian street food snacks and Indian cuisine food. Different flavors of Lassi drink was interesting. Food was great and service was quick.
There is a paid Parking lot just next to the resturant that cost about $10 – $15.

We had Masala Dosa and Chicken Tikka Tacos at Tulsi, and the food was delightful, especially the Masala Dosa. It’s not easy to find a well-made dosa, but this one was spot on. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for quality Indian food in downtown LA.

Lots of tables were left uncleaned with smelling dishes. Eggplant curry had more oil floating than any curry. Pan lassi was also bad. The portion size in thali was very less. No waiter all self service. Overall worst Indian restaurant I have been to.
