We have been coming here since you opened as we live super close by, but the food got really bad last year and we started going elsewhere instead. We decided to give it another try to tonight and the food was absolutely awful. My tamale was completely inedible. Staff was very mediocre but not friendly. We don’t plan on coming back.

We had our son and future DIL’s rehearsal dinner party here and it was fantastic!! Ernon, the manager, was amazing! He offered us a variety of options for food and drinks, table set up, tv’s for our photo slide show, and was eager to accommodate all our ideas. We had a somewhat private area with 2 long tables set up to seat our 36 guests. The margaritas were excellent and everyone raved over their selections of entrees. We chose to have our guests order from the menu rather that a buffet set-up, and gave our guests unlimited drinks. Our total bill included the tip and was more than reasonable. I ordered a trio of enchiladas – beef, chicken and shrimp and I honestly couldn’t decide which one I liked best. So happy we chose El Mariachi at Hamburg for our event! We highly recommend this restaurant for your special event or just for a good place to eat. Can’t wait to go back!

Update 10.16.2024: Still great Mexican food and great service! Just an update that they did update their menu so not all items are still available. Their original menu was HUGE so this is not necessarily a bad thing. They still offer a variety of options.
Previous: Hamburg didn’t have a good Mexican restaurant until El Mariachi. We used to have to travel to get good Mexican but now we just have to go down the road. The service is always friendly and the food comes out fast and delicious. We have introduced others to this restaurant, and they agree it is terrific. Love the El Mariachi sauce and the Fajita Chimichanga.

Salsa was so plan the kids asked if it was “the cheese stick sauce”? Yes it was very much like watered down marinara. Which one of the kids really liked… but didn’t sit right with the rest of us. Everything else was OK, but that’s all. Just ok. Best part was they were generous with the chips and “salsa” 3 baskets of chips for my family or 6, and everyone got there own little dish of Salsa. Wish it was better.

This place has officially been deemed as BEST BIRRIA EVER!!!! By me of course! They rank #1 on my list. So flavorful, fresh, the tortilla had the right amount of crunch, the meat was soooo tender & seasoned to perfection! They did not skimp on the cheese, onion, or cilantro!! It was delicious!! The tamale was good as well. The rice was good but a little dry. U can tell it’s cooked first thing in the morning and probably stays on a warmer throughout the day. A few of the vegetables in the rice was a little crunchy. My man got enchiladas (beef) they were ok. But the BIRRIA THO!!!! Must have!

An amazing dining experience. We really enjoyed the food, the service, and the ambiance of this location we had a variety of items from the menu and everyone was very satisfied, cooked to perfection. I thought the price was fair for all that you received. I highly recommend a visit.

My wife and I had an amazing experience here on Monday July 26th, we left at 3:42 pm happy, our waitress who was waiting and hosting, I think she was the only one working, was attentive, quick, and caring with our orders and us. I had the tacos tapatolio and the 4 tacos was excellent, the pork was like as if Cubans cooked it, it was tender and flavorful, the chick had a nice sear on it without being dry or burnt, the chorizo had amazing flavor and texture to it, the steak taco was decent. Overall it was an amazing experience and I will be coming back.
