The food is great. It comes out hot (if applicable) and presented nicely. Quality is awesome and the specials are always different.
Service, always on top of our drinks (and I drink water like a fish out of water), kind, and doesn’t hover.
Atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and open.
We love coming here as a date night.
It feels like it’s a step above some of the other offerings in town.
Speaking of offerings, there are items here that are not available in other restaurants. And the presentation… the presentation of some the food is just exquisite.
A picture is certainly worth 1000 words, so please take a look at some of these photos.
Oh, they also have the hot ginger Honey tea, just wonderful on a cold day.
I would agree with some folks that this is the best sushi in town.
We also had several service issues during the meal. A soup that was specifically requested without mushrooms arrived with mushrooms in it. Dirty plates were left on the table for too long, food came out slowly, and one of our rolls was forgotten and had to be brought out later.
The only reason this is not a one-star review is because the staff was genuinely kind and polite. Unfortunately, good service cannot make up for poor food quality and kitchen execution.
I am not sure how this little gem flew under
my radar with ne living nearby, but YES! I was in need of a new hibachi place after the hurricane ruined my previous spot. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. The quality of food is top-notch!! Sushi was AMAZING. We will definitely be coming back!
That said, the rest of the meal was quite enjoyable. The elegant atmosphere and outstanding environment make Murazaki a great place to dine. The drinks were tasty—my favorite was the Berrynice. We ordered a crab salad appetizer that was fresh and delicious, and the sushi was well-presented with good flavors.
Murazaki has many strengths, but I hope they improve their service response and food consistency to match the otherwise great experience.
