This little food and big beverage place at gate 6 at Montgomery Airport (MGM) offers several sandwich options, but mostly slices and pizza varieties. Pepsi products and Red Bull in the freezer case with several beers on tap and a fairly ample liquor stash for the bar. Service is good and quick.
I got a local sausage on an egg bun. Delic!
Also check out a token batch of Alabama mugs and merchandise. The counters, the chairs inside and chairs outside the venue that enjoy a window view of the airplanes are all high top chairs with no wheel chair access.

Stopped by to eat since it’s the ONLY place in the airport that serves anything other than vending machine food.
1. No one at the counter so had to wait until the worker came back.
2. Ordered a club and was told they have no lettuce. Then the woman kept asking if I wanted anything else, I think it was because I wasn’t ordering alcohol.
3. Then was told I can’t sit inside the place because I wasn’t drinking alcohol even though the place was empty. So I wasn’t allowed to eat inside because I would drink booze.
4. I’ll let the photo of the $15 club sandwich speak for itself.
Don’t waste your time. The employee was incredibly rude and then the food was a disappointment.

The employees are so sweet and have great customer service. However, it’s unbearably hot in there. They need to do something about the AC especially given the fact that it’s already a small space with a kitchen. 5 stars for all the employees but it’s so hot in there.

Located in the humble regional airport of Montgomery, Alabama, (MGM), this little bar serves up some of the classics, to include the pictured “Manhattan”. I also got the pizza with Alabama’s own Conecuh sausage, a southern staple. Mya was a wonderful host, cashier, and bartender! You also get to watch a plane takeoff from time to time. I stop by before every flight.

Out of many menu items; overpriced; can’t even get a cup of water so they can gauge you on a 3.79 bottle of water (but you. An buy a cup of ice for 16 cents ). Here’s my $20 lunch. Now that Dunkin’ Donuts is opening, hopefully they will actually have to provide a decent service to stay in business

Quick service delivering the grilled chicken club and fries to my table. They are not stingy with the condiments, napkins, or plastic ware. Nice view of the runway. What more could you want?

You must wait for your order in an already small dining area.
The atmosphere is not very welcoming.
And the airport has limited options, so you may have to eat here for something hot as a meal, unfortunately .

I’m genuinely surprised to see positive mentions of Viktoriya in other reviews, as my experience was quite the opposite. She was by far the rudest server/bartender I’ve ever encountered. I had a simple request—just trying to order a slice of pizza—and was met with a dismissive and sharp, “I already told you that I don’t have it.” I had never spoken to her before and found her tone completely unprovoked and unprofessional.
Regardless of background or origin, there’s a basic standard of customer service that should be upheld, especially in the hospitality industry. Speaking to a guest in such a disrespectful manner is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this establishment because of this experience. No one with such a demeanor should be in a customer-facing role.

Had a customer meeting end early so I had the pleasure of killing some time at Runway 28. Food was basic but very tasty – no complaints at all. Highlight of the evening was service and talk with the staff, in particular Victoria, who was an absolute delight. Thank you for providing me a great afternoon, even if it wasn’t my plan.
