Order place at 12:32
Order should be ready at 12:50. It is currently 1:16pm. They said it will be 5 mins more 5 times. The service here is terrible. Chipotle in the Springfield area has been awful and the service at its worst. I still will always love chipotle but it’s getting worse by the day. @chipotle please fix this. It’s currently 1:20 and still didn’t get my order
At the Chipotlane window, I was told my order “didn’t go through” and that I would need to contact corporate for a refund. No assistance or resolution was provided.
I went inside to ask if they could prepare the order since payment had processed, and was told they did not have the capacity to make it. I left without food or a refund.
The order is now marked completed in the app despite not being provided.
One of the dirtiest places I have ever seen. Poor management. Sad because the food is good at other Chipotles but certainly not worth the wait and uncleanliness of this particular store.
We decided to go in to take advantage of the deal. It took a while in line, but that’s not even the main gripe that I have.
There was a particular person who was working on the food line, who was a male, had a hat on, glasses, a little scruffy looking (not to be mean or judgy , but since I didn’t see a name on the person – this is the only thing that I have to go by). He was giving noticeably small servings. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, that maybe he was brand new. However, I kept seeing repeatedly that he was giving smaller servings (compared to the other person on the line), and I did hear someone else who was ahead of us in line, vocalizing his concerns about the servings that worker had given him. Finally it was my turn at the counter, and he also gave me very small servings. I even asked for queso (which I don’t usually do, because it’s more additional money) but when I saw how considerably smaller in size my burrito was, compared to my partners (who ordered nearly the same thing, and had a different worker make his food) – it made me feel like I was getting jipped. I thought it was incredibly unfair that I (and surely others) would have had to pay the same price, for a burrito that looks more like a noodle, in comparison to the hugely stuffed (and regular size, for Chipotle) burritos that other workers were producing.
Thankfully, the other worker was also manning the cash register, noticed how small mine was (that the guy made), and did not charge me for the queso on it. (Because even WITH the queso, it looked like a noodle).
The lower rating and stars will hopefully send a message to Chipotle and Chipotle management to make sure your employee’s are giving ENOUGH food to your customers.
I may visit there again in the future – but I will NOT be paying any price for a burrito that looks like someone just rolled a tortilla up, and wrapped it in between some foil, and called it good. If I wanted to do that, I’d grab a tortilla from my pantry. When I go to Chipotle and pay as much as everyone pays, we want a substantial amount of food inside of the tortilla (which I have normally gotten and had good experiences with, at Chipotle – except for this visit on Nov. 26th.)
Just please, do better!
