It was a fine, average bar for most of the night. But this is one of those places where, the second it hits 12:45am, security starts yelling at everyone to get out. Not asking, not giving a reasonable heads up, just yelling. Members of our group (sober and in our early 30s), were in the middle of finishing an arcade game that had already been paid for and were being shouted at as if they were teenagers being scolded.
I understand that working security can be frustrating, especially when dealing with drunk patrons who won’t cooperate, but that was not the case here. No one in our group was disruptive or refusing to leave. We were simply finishing a paid game and preparing to head out.
The interaction felt extremely immature and unprofessional. It seems like this is a very common theme based on other reviews and that there have been issues similar to this far before closing time as well. For that reason, I’d only recommend this spot as a last resort.

This place is cool, I thought there would be a lot more games but that’s totally fine because thats not what I went for. I didnt get food but everyone else at the bar was eating and raving about how good it was. Drinks were strong and priced good. Live music is a huge plus too.

Jax isn’t just a bar, its an experience. Between Bartender Mike and Chef Nessie, you can’t go wrong coming here. Mike makes sure all feel welcome to watch games and enjoy live music. While Nessie makes the most wonderful food! 10/10 would go again.

We got to this bar the first night at Killington November 16th and the service was very good and friendly, our bartender, she gave us all the recommendations about where to get skis mounted, to pick our passes and tips to get around the resort. Very friendly place! If we come back to Killington we are definitely coming back to have a drink here!

Food and drinks were fine in that bar, even doh my cocktail was pretty week for the price . Worst part is service – first security guy didn’t want to let us in questioning my friends ID (my friend is 32 btw and looks exactly as his ID photo) but it’s not a big deal. After we got seated our waitress approached about 5 minutes later and never offered a menu. After I mentioned that we don’t have a menu she silently took it from Neighbours table and gave it to us with rude attitude. Whatever reason for that behavior is – it is not my issue to deal….

Drop it like it’s hot burger was soooo good! Beautiful night so we ate outside & our server was great! He was also so sweet to my dog, brought him a bowl of water and some bacon. Kids had fun playing some games inside while we finished our drinks. Would definitely recommend this place!
