Our waitress was really good.
If we’re passing through this way again, we’ll definitely stop for dinner or lunch again.
Suggest ordering by phone and pick up. It’s a very small restaurant. That being said, it may be small? However, it is huge in guys quality and quality! So be sure to go HUNGRY!
As of 8/13/25, staff are using the restaurant as a day care. We went here and there were two very loud kids running around. It turned out to be kids of the people who work there. But not only that, I saw the kids trying to get ice out of the ice tray thing. And one of the waitresses picked up the girl so she could get her own soda. Sitting her on the counter.
So god knows how clean everything is, given that kids can be very dirty.
Honestly. Would not recommend at this time. Sad to say because we’ve been coming here for years.
We’ve been coming here for years. It’s nearly always on point and really good service and food. They’ve had a few bad days, but overall for the last 10+ years they’ve been a reliable stop for some really good food and bread. Always recommend to stop here.
We were sat by a door and window that might go to a patio. The cold was blasting right through. I’d go again just because of lack of options in the area but season it.
– shrimp fra diavolo
From research this was the only Italian place in Artesia(local too). Popular by locals I came here to see what the hype was about. Walking into the restaurant I was not greeted by a waiter/waitress so I assumed it was order by the cashier type of place. Waiting in the line for 5 min, the cashier tells me to go ahead and sit where ever I want for dine in. Cool.
They started me out with bread and marinara sauce but Bread was tasteless with no character to it. Anyways, I asked the waitress for recommendations and she told me to try shrimp fra diavolo and stracciatella soup, And I did. Stracciatella soup had eggs, spinach and cheese, Interesting and flavorful mix. Not a soup I’d go back over and over again for but one that I’ll try once in my life time. The diavolo, sauce was amazing with parsley and the spicy that had me addicted to it. The only disappointment was the pasta, felt like one I could just buy off of a walmart shelf and it definitely dropped the quality of the whole package.
That bread I mentioned earlier, went perfect with the left over sauce from diavolo. Just know that theres alot of sauce with most of the pasta here.
