This is the sort of place you just love to find when you’re traveling. Incredible food, outstanding service, simple, fun atmosphere (fyi it was 11am on a Saturday). I bet this place gets really fun at night! We showed up in San Antonio looking for just a small bite. This place is small on the outside but big on everything else. The chips and salsa are unlike anything I’ve ever had but welcomed that experience! Fry a tortilla and just break it for your chip with salsa. Brilliant! We were offered a small soup, compliments of the house. Outstandingly delicious, but simple and wholesome! I ordered the fish (bass) tacos (fried). My wife, the Diablo shrimp. Neither disappointed but oh my god those tacos were the single best fish tacos over ever had in my life. While I waited for my order I debated if I should’ve ordered the shrimp tacos. No. I ordered the best entree! Those little pieces of fish were cooked to perfection and I cannot say that enough. They were not heavy even though fried. They were just perfect. My wife loved her Diablo shrimp. I tried them too. We both love spicy and these deliver!! That’s a dish for a true spice lover. I met with the chef/owner(?) on my way out. Super nice guy. You can tell this is a passion. All I can say is this is the best place we visited on our trip to San Antonio. Genuine, friendly, great food. I can see this place growing into something much bigger! I highly recommend you check this place out.

Rainy weather attracted us in here. Food was delicious. Customer service exceptionally-friendly, courteous-checking up on us quite often (cup was full). Atmosphere – music makes you feel like you’re somewhere else other than Texas. Also, it has a bar! The owners are pretty down to earth, too!
Lemonade (lite-not too sugary nor overpowered by lemon but of lime juice), water infused with a hintwatermelon flavor.
Pescado a la Diablo plate (choice of fries or rice)
Onion rings; caldo de mariscos (seafood soup); tostadas y salsa.
I’ll be stopping by again!

I found this place by accident and I will definitely be returning! The fried shrimp was so fresh and it was seasoned perfectly. I also really loved how fresh the French fries were. The atmosphere is very welcoming & the music in the background was at a good volume for those who like to have a conversation over a meal. This is a family owned business & I really appreciate how warm and selfless the staff was. They treated someone in need to an entire meal, that type of good is rare these days and it really left a lasting impression. I’m happy to know that the money I’ll spend eating a delicious meal, will go to people who are deserving of success. Can’t wait to be back!

My husband and I wanted seafood so we came here on Saturday around 7:00pm 11/22/25 and as we entered the restaurant we were greeted right away by Charley the owner . Very nice and pleasant man . We sat down and Daphne our server was very nice she greeted us with a smile . She gave us tostadas and fish soup . I have never had fish soup and it was delicious . I ordered the fried fish with grilled shrimp and fries it also comes with a slaw . My husband ordered the molcajetazo don Charly he said it was good and spicy . Overall experience from start to finish was a great experience. Charly and Daphne thanked us and we found out Daphne is Charly’s daughter . I love supporting small businesses. And knowing it’s a father and daughter duo even better .We definitely will visit again .

My family and I tried this seafood place a couple of days ago.
Service was great and food was super fresh. We had ceviche to start, which was very tasty. Each of us got a small bowl of caldo de camaron that was incredible, full of flavor. Then, we continued with an order of Chicharron Fish tacos, very good portions and also we had camarones a La Diabla, these were a different version that we know from our hometown and we loved them!
Family atmosphere and a clean place.
Also, they have in the back a very nice “palapa” ready to be rent for family gatherings, birthdays or any special occasions
Coming back soon for sure!

Great food.
Ordered many things on the menu since it was the first time.
Ceviche mixed seafood, shrimp cocktail, shrimp quesadillas, fried fish and shrimp were shared by the adults .
Kids got burger and chicken strips.
The price was pretty high considering the options available in the area.
Would go back for ceviche.
