Stopped by the Popeyes in Des Moines, WA after craving some wings and using a coupon from the app. Access is a bit tricky as it’s not reachable from one side of the road without a loop around. The location is clean with a decent-sized parking lot. Restroom was available and clean. Service can vary depending on how busy they are. It does feel a bit understaffed during both my visits. The wings are worth it but the fries weren’t quite as hot as I would like them.

Decided to stop in for lunch. Food was delicious, but it did take a while to get the food. There was two people in front of us and we probably waited in line for almost 10 minutes before I order was taken, and it was another 15 minutes to receive our food afterwards.
Got two meals, a number one spicy chicken sandwich large combo with two sides, the chicken was good, the rice and beans were good as well as the macaroni and cheese. My wife got the pickle chicken sandwich, I think that sandwich tasted more moist in the other one, overall we enjoyed ourselves. If we were there for a lunch break we definitely would have ran out of time would had to take the food to go. Dining room was very clean, good atmosphere. Employees were very helpful, and seem to be working hard to ensure food was getting out.
I would probably stop here again.

12/72/24 After arriving from Spokane via Alaska Airlines. I still wanted some chicken . I got the 6 piece wings (sweet and spicy) combo with a drink and coleslaw. My husband got the 2 piece large combo upgrade with mash potatoes and red beans with rice with a drink. We got our order within 10 minutes. The worker who took our order and prepared our food was nice and smiled the entire time until she handed us our food.
The fountain drink section was a mess with spilled drinks and was not cleaned as some of the drinks were dried and some were still wet. The tables were clean and we enjoyed our food.

My first experience at Popeyes was awful. I waited for what felt like 50 minutes for an order when they said it would take 15–20 minutes, and I only ordered 3 sandwiches and a biscuit. They gave me the wrong sandwich, then demanded I give back a sandwich that had already been bitten into, and refused to remake it if I didn’t. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and the atmosphere was uncomfortable with employees yelling at each other. I wish I had gone to Burger King instead.

Ordered a 5 piece tenders meal and was told there would be a 5 minute wait. I pulled around to front of restaurant to wait. Eventually someone brought out food for another car. By that time I had actually been waiting for half an hour. I’m disabled and it wasn’t really feasible for me to go in. I asked the employee how much longer and was told the cook was late. Got my food finally (no apology for the wait) and it was horrible. The chicken was tough and the biscuits tasted “off”. Never going back.

Ordered two combos in the drive-thru and there was some difficulty communicating my order where it seemed hard to understand each other for some reason. Maybe due to traffic and heavy rain noise? When ordering they informed me it would be a 6-10 minute wait, to which I agreed and waited about 10 minutes. When I started driving home I realized they forgot about part of my order, so I drove back to get it. They gave me what I was missing but did not offer me anything for my time lost. By the time I got home, most everything was cold and not crunchy, as if it had been sitting in a bag the whole time while the last thing was prepared. It was then that I realized they also forgot the sauces and the spicy chicken I asked and waited for was actually just original . I love Popeyes but unfortunately this one has been the worst I have been to. $35 for two cold combos.

Every single time I come I’m waiting out front for 15-40 minutes. They seem to have enough workers so I’m not sure what the problem is. If you are on your way somewhere thinking you might pick up some quick food this is not the place for that.

I first started coming here about 3 years ago, the staff was great! The food was fresh and it was clean, the last two times I have come there I had a pretty negative experience, the first time, I was told to pull around to the front and they would bring out my food, I waited for over 35 minutes, I was patient! I work in food service and retail so I know how it is 🙂 I saw a couple workers coming out of the back I showed them my receipt and said I had been waiting for over half an hour, they said we forgot to make your food, they did compensate me with a full size family meal for like 5 ppl which was more than enough, but I shouldn’t have had to wait 35 minutes and get forgotten about. Yesterday I came and waited about 10 minutes, got my food and it was just disappointing:( the biscuit was very dry and the chicken I ordered had no breading, which I did clarify with a worker about and the variety I got doesn’t have breading but there was nothing to clarify that on the menu the Mac n cheese was very cold, I honestly took the food and threw it away after a few bites, I gave this place many chances but I will be choosing a different location from now on.

Terrible service. Waited for 5 minutes at the drive through sign and no body responded even though I saw employees walking inside the building. Pulled up to the window and saw a girl on her phone for another few minutes so I went inside. Took maybe another few minutes for them to notice me and to top it off they got my order wrong. Good food but very unsatisfactory service.
