Kitty’s is the best!! Their cheesecakes are delicious. They have the Superman cheesecake, too, which is a yummy Detroit staple! A must try!
Kitty’s always helps me out when I’m in a pinch, too. They have saved me many times with last minute cheesecakes! My friend came in town last minute for his birthday and I ran in there hoping they had something available. They had a banana pudding cheesecake available last minute, I grabbed it, and it was absolutely delicious! None of them disappoint. Try all the wonderful flavors. You won’t be disappointed! 🙂
Plus they have ready to eat slices! Yummy.

Your greeted with a smile and she let’s you know about the specials and to make sure you get your points for purchases. Today I secured a piece of caramel cake and the strawberry cheesecake crunch.

Love them down! Being a recurring customer for years I brought in new people to experience the deliciousness that is Kitty’s Cheesecakes. They absolutely loved the choc chip cookies, I ordered the strawberry swirl cheesecake for a bday which was loved as well, and the sweet potato (which is my november favorite). Absolutely amazing!
Also recommend if you can order it in advance the gluten free cheesecake.

I needed to procure a key lime cheesecake for a family gathering, and found Kitty’s online. We went in and bought a whole cheesecake as well some slices in other flavors. The prices are very reasonable for large portions. The staff are so warm and gracious and you can tell this is a business of the heart. We shared the slices with neighbors that day, just to taste test before I showed up with an untried cheesecake to the event, and everyone was blown away at how delicious they all were. We all came away with a favorite (mine is the banana pudding) which only goes to show you need to taste lots of flavors to figure out which is “the best one” for you.
I’m writing this review after my SECOND visit to Kitty’s in three days, because my son begged for a treat on the way home from school, specifically cheesecake from Kitty’s. I agreed because there are so many more flavors to check out and I am nothing if not thorough. Highly recommend!

I have been passing this establishment daily and decided to stop in. I was very impressed with the different varieties of cheesecake and bake goods. My favorite is cheesecake and I wasn’t disappointed. I tried the plain and I wasn’t disappointed. I have tried all the cheesecakes and my favorite is butter pecan. I try to stop in once a week because the cheesecake is that good! Kitty’s Cheesecake has a customer for life!

I was here visiting my mom from Texas and she took me to kitty’s to pick up her lemon pound cake she ordered. We didn’t know they also had peach cobbler that we desperately wanted but was there when a customer bought the last one!!.. to avoid us rioting because the last one was sold, the owner came from the back and gave me her own personal peach cobbler that she had saved for herself and baby that peach cobbler did not disappoint!!.. simply divine.. best peach cobbler I ever had.. flavor in every bite.. crust was just right!!.. I want to send a very special thank you to the owner and everyone in that amazing establishment.. lemon pound cake was extraordinary as well!!.. I will recommend this place 10 out of 10

My mother-in-law is not a huge fan of cakes, and her birthday was coming up. We wanted something to have at her birthday party which would add to the birthday celebrations and that she would love.
After spending some time doing research on the best cheesecakes in Detroit, I came across Kitty’s Cheesecakes… And was immediately drawn to the Sweet Potato Cheesecake. They have lots of amazing flavours to choose from, with beautiful colour options to match – yet and still, the Sweet Potato was what I was most drawn to.
I made the order over the phone early in the week, which was super easy & we were given very clear instructions on when we could pick-up the cheesecake on the Saturday!
Our entire family could not have been happier with the cheesecake! It was soooooo incredibly delicious. The base had the perfect crunch and you could tell that it was freshly made and most importantly – made with love.
Next time I’m in Detroit, I would love to try more of the options that they have with cakes as well as cheesecakes!!

This is a gem on 8 mile. If you want delicious cheesecake, great customer service and support a black owned business, this isbtge place. I visited today with my sister and we purchased a slice of banana pudding, strawberry topped, and turtle cheesecake. I can’t wait to dig in.
