Little gem of an eatery I found by chance. It doesn’t have a regular open schedule. I recommend checking if they are open for dinner before you go.
The food was delicious. Good southern comfort food! The place got packed when I was there! It’s not huge so it filled up quickly. Service was good and price was great! I will definitely go back.

Small town diner with exceptional food and service 10/10!! My wife and I stopped in today for a quick lunch. Burgers were delicious and fresh. Service was great, always around to check on us or if we needed anything. Definitely recommend!

I almost never give a diner 5 stars on everything so this is a high mark for me. The place is clean y’all. Clean. Vents are dust-free. The floors have been swept. Booths clean. And the food was fantastic! We had breakfast and you might say how hard is it to scramble eggs? Theirs are top notch! No kidding! The only blemish on our experience was my wife’s blood sugars went through the roof and we realized she was served a regular soft drink instead of diet as ordered. She spiked into the dangerous range. I understand honest mistakes happen. And thankfully nothing awful happened but it does remind us to be careful when we can affect someone’s health. Beyond that, full recommendation! We found a great vacation spot nearby so we will be back!

The atmosphere is fantastic. The food was top notch, ( loved the fact that their fries and chips are not oily). Their service was fantastic, you never had an empty cup. Prices for the food are beyond amazing, and everyone here is super nice.
I am from Raleigh and definitely recommend this to anyone traveling across the state looking for a nice place to stop and have lunch.

Wait staff is very nice and attentive. Sat down and less than a min had coffee and my order taken. Full marks. Food was delicious and saw my ex wife after 20 years. She had to tell me it was her as I didn’t recognize her even though she was the love of my life. Ok so Saturday is going to be crazy.

Our church ladies fellowship group and our daughters came for lunch here after going to Millstone Creek Orchards. We were so impressed with the excellent service and delicious burgers!! It was the perfect small town getaway for us South Raleigh dwellers. To all the staff at Franklinville Diner:. “Thank you so much for making our day!” South Raleigh Bible Church Ladies Fellowship. The food was excellent! The best cheeseburger I’ve had in years. The French fries were just right and the potato salad was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. As and the prices were very reasonable. We hope to go back soon and try the breakfast specials!
