Always in search of small town U.S.A. experiences for food, I hooked east from I-95 to Turbeville, SC. Becky’s Cafe, located on Main St, is rather unassuming from the street, a one-time fuel station converted into a small restaurant. The interior is clean, but again, no frills. Open for lunch, Becky’s features a small menu with typical small town favorites, including burgers, sandwiches, chicken tenders, etc. There is also a short buffet, featuring mashed potatoes, rice, beef pot roast, Salisbury steak, fried chicken, vegetables, and a few desserts. Do not pass on the buffet! For $13.95, you will not be disappointed. The food is excellent, with great flavor. Hometown cooking is served up at Becky’s Cafe. The service was excellent, accompanied by southern charm and hospitality. Clearly, the locals eat at Becky’s Cafe as just about everyone there knew each other and greeted friends warmly. I will mark Becky’s Cafe as a favorite in Google Maps.

We stopped here on our way to the beach, and we will do it again! The food was incredible! The burger was HUGE and juicy. The chicken nuggets were made from scratch and so very yummy! The people were kind and made us feel like we were at home.

Beckys Cafe recently catered for my wedding. They did a fabulous job. I recieved exactly what I asked for and then some. The food was delicious and recieved several compliments. They were prompt, professional, kind and exceptionally accommodating and I appreciate them very much for it. As the bride I was very busy when they arrived to set up and I regret not having a picture of their hard work to show, but trust me, it was outstanding.

Great little family ran restaurant located off of Hwy 378. I got the buffet style order, provided with a drink. It is spacious, clean and the staff is very friendly. It offers Southern style cooking like chicken, mash potatoes and mac n’ cheese. There is a parking area out front. The price is very reasonable for the food, a great stop for those traveling.
