Homey, bi-level eatery serving classic Nepalese fare, including curried meat & vegetarian tarkari.

A really good restaurant but one has to be careful with the spice levels as food here can be quite spicy. That said, our waiter was very helpful and guided us on this. We ordered the gundruk soup, veg momos, and tofu noodles and everything was delicious.

Great location in the heart of the city, and a nice seating area outside in a corner giving great views of the hustle and bustle of the street specially if the weather is good. Food was good, we tried veg momos as well fish and chicken mains. All were good (nothing out of the world though). Service was prompt. They also ensured to check on the spice levels!! Overall good experience!!

I went for the first time last night and its one of my favorite local restaurants now! The ginger Yeti drinks were phenomenal, and the Eggplant and Basil Paneer Takari were awesome. We had cardamom yogurt for dessert which was lovely. And of course the mo mos were delicious. The staff could not have been more pleasant and friendly. It’s a great restaurant!

I saw this place and love trying new things so I gave it a shot. The wild boar momo was a new flavor profile for me but good, woodsy, deep flavoring. The sauce it comes with really makes it something special. I had the bread with sauce from reviews as it seemed popular. It was good (I ate it all) but to me not a standout. The Yeti with vodka was very refreshing and delicious even for someone hesitant on strong ginger it was very good! But the Chicken Takari – WOW so delicious!! I chose a level 7 as I like very spicy. It was enough to leave my tongue tingling and lips slightly burning. Probably could knock someone with a lesser spice tolerance on their butt though! Everything was great for my first time trying Nepalese cuisine.

Delicious food, good atmosphere, friendly people. An unexpected treat when we didn’t expect it. It’s added to our list of favorite restaurants we maintain on Google. I will definitely go by there again when we travel to New England the next time.

Very good Nepali dishes and authentic! The staff were so friendly and the food came out very quickly! Very good serving size. We were so full and couldn’t finish our order, but we had to place more momo orders to bring home! Definitely coming back!

I’ve walked by this place a million times and totally overlooked it! Our cousin recommended it to us, said their food was awesome. It did not disappoint. The food was incredible and it definitely is a cultural experience dining in. I do think the cleanliness of the dining area can improve, but would definitely return.

Honestly this place need a overhaul. Dumplings were not consistent and it tasted nothing like real momo. Rice and chicken were another story. I usually don’t like to be harsh but they should definitely update their menu with authentic Nepal dish.

I was hesitante to eat here but decided to anyways. Don’t get me wrong as a Mexican, I love spicy food and ethnic food but the food was not great. I got the chille mushroom lamb dish. The lamb was wayyyy too chewy, the mushrooms and veggies weren’t even sautéed right, they were still hard. And it was expensive too so I at least expected the veggies to be soft and the lamb to not be complete rubber.

Tried DSR while visiting from out of town – what a wonderful spot! The food was delicious, filling, and flavorful. The Lamb and Mushroom Tarkari was my baby and I’s favorite. The Momos are a must try. The staff were warm and welcoming. Will be back 🙂
