We went to Dilli-6 after hearing a lot of good reviews. The restaurant is nice, with good ambience. Service is also very friendly. However, the highlight which is the food, didn’t quite work for us.
The dishes could have had better flavors, according to us. But instead all we could taste was the spice. The chicken biryani smelled and looked amazing but the essence of a good biryani was totally lacking. Plus it was super spicy for me.
Lamb shank biryani (as per my friends) was nice.
Chole bhature was ordinary. Not a lasting taste or aroma.
Really enjoyed the chaat.
For me the highlight were the two desserts. Both absolutely amazing. Also, the nimbu shikanji was good. Helped a lot with the spice.
Might go again to try other dishes in the menu and see if they change our current perception.

We went to Dilli 6 and had a really good experience overall! We tried the Kachori Chaat, Chhole Kulche, Chhole Bhature, Momos, Malai Soya Chaap, and Falooda. The Chhole Bhature and the Falooda were the absolute highlights—the bhature were perfectly soft and fluffy, the chhole had great flavor, and the falooda was refreshing and delicious.

The Kachori Chaat was tasty but a bit on the spicier side, and the Chhole Kulche also had good Delhi-style flavors. The Malai Soya Chaap was creamy and flavorful, and definitely worth trying. The Momos were decent, though not the best we’ve had. The presentation was nice. Prices felt slightly on the higher side considering the small portion size, but the overall taste made it worth it.

I recently visited Dilli-6 and was blown away by the authenticity. This isn’t your average Indian restaurant; and I don’t say that lightly.

The Standout Dishes:
Fateh Ki Kachori: If you love chaat, skip the usual aloo options and get this. It’s a crisp, perfectly spiced kachori that captures the soul of Delhi street food.
Bhatti Da Murgh: Their signature chicken is a must. It had a deep, smoky flavor from the tandoor and was perfectly succulent.
Amritsari Kulcha: This was exactly how it should be—buttery, flaky, and crushed to perfection. It paired beautifully with the rich chole.
Daulat Ki Chaat with Rabri: The absolute highlight of the meal. It is so rare to find authentic Daulat Ki Chaat in the US. It’s a light-as-air milk foam topped with saffron and silver foil; pairing it with their creamy Rabri made for an exquisite finish.

The ambiance is vibrant and modern, but the food is the real star. Highly recommended if you want genuine, high-end Indian flavors.

Good expensive food. We went for dinner. Had golgappey and tikki in vegetarian, I thought it was dahi forward but still ok. Bhatti ka chicken was quite good.
In main course we had chicken deghchi which was spicy good, paneer dilli6 was reasonable, choor choor naan was reasonable. Saul at ki chaat was sweet and well made.
All in all we had good food with friends with a big bill

Families, feed your kids before you come. The vibe at Dilli 6 is great, but the service really missed the mark. We felt the hospitality didn’t match the nice decor at all—we couldn’t even get a smile from our wait staff.
Heads up to parents: they told us straight up they “don’t care” to cater to kids, so there are basically no mild options. Definitely feed your kids before you go! Also, if you aren’t a fan of heavy spice, look elsewhere. The Chole Bhature and Aloo Tikki Chaat were good, but my mouth was on fire. Dilli 6 chicken was a let down- little chicken and much sauce.
The drinks were the highlight for us—the Aam Panna and Lassi were delicious, and the Falooda was a great way to end the meal. One star for drinks and one star for food. It’s a shame because the place looks beautiful, but the service left a lot to be desired.

I’m a true Delhi foodie, and after living in Bellevue for the past two years, I’ve really missed the authentic flavors of home. This restaurant completely exceeded my expectations — it truly captures the essence of Delhi’s food and ambience.

The chef has done an outstanding job bringing authentic Delhi-style cuisine to the U.S. Every dish I tried was perfectly balanced and bursting with genuine flavors — nothing felt missing. The service was equally impressive, making the entire experience even better.

The restaurant does tend to get busy, so you might have to wait a little, but the wait is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Delhi food in Bellevue!

We were able to get a table at 9 pm without reservation on a Sunday. However, would recommend folks to get a reservation before coming here.

Food was bit on the medium spicy side for us. Dahi k Sholey is very mild and kid friendly. Butter Chicken and Paneer Makhani can be ordered with mild spices so stick to those if you can’t handle spicy food.

Service was great. Joseph was top notch and getting us seated quickly and getting orders in before the kitchen close time.

Dilli-6 Restaurant Review

We stopped by Dilli-6 on a Tuesday night without any plans, and the overall experience was underwhelming.

Amritsari Kulche:
Felt overly hyped. The chole didn’t offer anything special, and while the kulche were different from what I’m used to, they didn’t quite impress my taste buds. At $26, it really didn’t feel worth the price.

Kachori Chaat:
Cooked peas served on a flat, crispy puff. The flavors were disappointing, and for $15, I expected a far better chaat. Very subpar.

Veg Chilly Momo:
Fried dumplings tossed in Manchurian sauce. This seems like a hit-or-miss item—didn’t work for me, though my wife enjoyed it.

Falooda:
Served with rabdi and kulfi, but the kulfi was so frozen it felt like biting into ice. The toppings didn’t add much, and overall I wouldn’t recommend it.

When you’re spending around $80, you expect better food and a better experience. I’ve had far superior meals—both in taste and ambience—for the same price elsewhere. The quality, taste, and presentation here were all very average.

Service was amazing and ambience was beautiful! Food was average overall – Tikki chat was okay. Matar kulcha was too spicy for me (either too much black pepper or red chilli) and it didn’t taste like the Delhi one am used to having. Quantity is small in comparison to the prices.

Boondi raita was delicious!

I visited Delhi 6 in Kirkland yesterday
and wanted to share my thoughts. I
tried the Chili Momos, the Goat Chop, and the Amritsari Kulcha with Chole.

The Chili Momos honestly felt like frozen momos just tossed in chili sauce – not very fresh or flavorful.

The Goat Chop was good, but it came as a single small patty, which felt a bit underwhelming for the price. The Chole itself tasted really nice and flavorful, but the Amritsari Kulcha was disappointing – it had no filling inside and felt more like a crispy papad than a proper kulcha.

Overall, I’d say the prices are on the higher side given the portion sizes. That said, the service was quick and friendly, and the ambiance was quite nice – so definitely points for that part.
