Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere! My family had a wonderful experience here. All of the food was delicious & freshly made. We tried a variety of menu items & everything was good. Our waiter was Andrew & he was very pleasant, kind & helpful. The manager/staff even came to our table to see how things were going & if the food was pleasing. We had no complaints. Everything was truly wonderful! The grilled salmon melts in your mouth, the ribs were amazing, the bronzino was so flavorful. We loved the roasted sweet potatoes with pecans. Even the mashed potatoes & fries were good. We tried a variety of appetizers & they were all great, too. Be sure to try the fruit flavored sweet sweet teas but you may have to water them down a bit lol. We shared the chocolate mousse for a dessert & it was so so good! Make sure you dip your spoon all the way down to the bottom of the glass & scoop it to the top in order to get the full effect of this delicious treat. We will definitely be back here soon & highly recommend this place!

Outstanding customer service.

Comfortable restaurant

Chicken Caesar Wrap – Simply ok. I asked for tomatoes and croutons inside, but it was ignored. $20 definitely pricey

Fries – Fresh and very good

Caesar Salad – Deliciousness. It had a unique touch of additions, which made up for the mediocre wrap. I also added steak. This was the most expensive salad ever at a whopping $29.

Let me start by saying I’ve heard nothing but great things about The Local, both locations. I decided to celebrate my birthday there and made a reservation for four at 6:45 PM.

When we arrived, we were seated right away, but the host only gave us two menus and said she’d have to find more. Not a big deal, but it took about 5–10 minutes before we got the rest, so we were sharing menus for a bit, which felt a little odd.

Our server was friendly, but not very professional. She never asked if we had been there before (two of the four of us hadn’t), and when I asked about any specials, she first said no, then, yes, but seemed unsure as she described them, with a lot of “I think” moments.

What really surprised me, though, was when my friend mentioned not seeing a specific plate on the menu and noticing a different Executive Chef listed. Our waitress then proceeded to share a lot of behind-the-scenes gossip and rumors, which felt very unprofessional, especially at such a beautiful and cozy restaurant.

On a positive note, the Brussels sprouts were fantastic. However, the crab cake was disappointing, bland, very small, and not worth the $30 price tag. Service was slow throughout the meal, with long waits for refills and the check.

Overall, the atmosphere is lovely, but the service and food didn’t live up to the hype or the price point. I truly wanted to love The Local, but I left feeling disappointed.

The ambience & service was impeccable! The food is *chefs kiss* – perfectly seasoned. It’s so amazing I’ve been back 3x in the last three weeks with different friends and they’ve all decided it’s our new spot. I just went for my birthday, and Sydney is an absolute joy. Even with the amount of people on a Saturday night she was so attentive and accommodating. The live band even sang me happy birthday and surprised me with a dessert. The wholeee staff is phenomenal. ✨✨

I love to go to the Local during happy hour. All I got to say is espresso Martini and I did like the frosty martini(holiday drink) their chicken sliders is fried, sweet with some heat mmmm sooo good. I also had their wings, and the cheesesteak egg roll. The live bands/singers is a great touch also. Warm, cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend!

Our meal was AMAZING! The oyster appetizer disappeared within seconds. We had the 2lb steak special & it was absolutely delicious Next time, we’re going for the tomahawk special

Quiet night in the restaurant since it was close to closing but that didn’t stop the server from being amazing. He was attentive, funny, and had great suggestions. The appetizers portions are huge!! You could totally have them as an entree (which I did) and have left overs. The prices are decent too given the amount of food you get. This will be added to my regular treat myself rotation

First time around we decided on drinks then came back the following week for entrees. The wings were great however the steak and broccolini dish gave tv dinner. While the fried chicken dish was heavily salted.

My wife and I used to love this place — it became our Valentine’s Day tradition for the last three years. Unfortunately, the experience has gone downhill each year, and this year was the last straw.

Our first year was amazing. We ordered the tomahawk for two, and they even cut the steak in front of us, which made the whole experience feel special and worth the price.

Last year on Valentine’s Day, they somehow ran out of the tomahawk steak altogether. On one of the busiest dining nights of the year, that was surprising and disappointing. Still, we gave them another chance.

This year, I called ahead to confirm the tomahawk would be available. When we arrived, we were told they had run out of mashed potatoes. Running out of such a basic side just showed a lack of preparation and consistency.

It’s frustrating because this used to be our go-to spot for a special night. We really wanted to keep supporting this restaurant, but after three years of declining experiences, we’ve decided to take our business elsewhere. Disappointing, because it once felt like a place that truly cared about the experience.
