Old school eastern NC country store /restaurant. Great burgers , hotdogs and daily specials. The folks there are super friendly.. love the vibe. Worth a stop if you’re passing through the area.

This place is a must stop First off let me say the prices are great! They bring an old gas station deli and turned it into a diner experience. Seems like nothing has changed except the point of sale equipment in 40 years and it really makes the experience worth while. The team that was working there were incredibly helpful and full of hospitality! On to the food I got the hotdog special comes with chilli cheese onions and mustard. The hotdog really wasn’t impressive because it seems boiled if they fired or grilled I think it would be better. Also better quality dogs would help as well. The fries were really awesome and the sweet tea was outstanding. All in all had great experience and would highly recommend.

My husband and I watched the traveler. Traveled over an hour and a half for what we thought was gonna be a delicious hotdog. Only to get there and the hotdogs had a sour taste. They where not brightleaf (brand of hotdog) as we thought. Although we seen a brightleaf box sitting in the trash. We was served a brown dog?? I’m not the one for this spot. I did purchase a shirt but they Will Not see me again. Maybe it’s a spot for someone else just not us!!

Out of the way Restaurant. That serves good fast food. A friend and I drove about 25 miles. To buy some meals. I ordered 2 smoked sausage dogs w/chilli, onions, mustard’s. A footlong hotdog with everything’s. My friend ordered 2 hotdogs w/ everything. A 1 hotdog w/ chili, onions ,and french fries. The foods was good. Hot and full of flavors. The place was crowded. But the wait was not to long. The cost was very reasonable less than $18 total for the both of us. I recommend this restaurant. Just outside of Kinston on Hwy NC 258 towards Jacksonville.

Bacon double cheese was delicious and the fried pickles were excellent. Wife reported the hot dogs all the way as also enjoyable. We’ll skip the fried cheese curds next time.
