Best meal in town! Sorry I did not take pictures of the decor, but even the ambiance made it for a wonderful evening. To start, service with a smile, then into a bottle of red wine from a wide selection. Appetizers were delicious, from a French Onion soup, a crab patty, fish nachos, fresh bread with a very tasty spread… then we had to find space for the main dishes. I had a grilled shrimp pasta and my partner the grilled chicken. Not sure how we managed to eat everything, but it would have been a sin to leave anything behind. Unfortunately, we did not make it to the dessert as we were full, but I guess now we have the perfect excuse to keep coming back. Absolutely and highly recommended!

I suddenly feel sad for all the other restaurants that I’ve rated 5 stars because truffles truly deserves 6 stars. One of my friends remarked “it’s the best meal she’s had in a long time” and I can’t help but agree. We just happened to choose this restaurant along our weekend trip and now I’m contemplating creating a whole other vacation just to get the chance to come back and enjoy this again (I saw the deserts as I left that made me want to cry I hadn’t ordered one). The bread as a starter was nice, the coconut shrimp as an appetizer was perfectly flakey with the mango sauce. I ordered the mushroom pasta with truffle oil and Alfredo. My god, the texture of all the different mushrooms was elite, I very well could have licked the plate clean. Some of my friends ordered the Crab cake as well which they raved over. I see other comments that prove customers have repeated this restaurant over the years, count me in to be one of them

We have been planning to take our family to Truffles for a while now, we have lived on Hilton Head Island full time for nearly 3 years. We will not wait that long to get back. We had a Top 5 family dinner there tonight, my wife and I and our 20 year old, and two 19 year olds. The food from start to finish was quality and very good. The server was very nice and attentive. The complimentary bread with a garlic type of butter was such a great thing to get our taste buds going. Nice fresh bread sliced more thin than thick which I loved. My son and I were excited about the Tuna Wonton appetizer but also liked the idea of the Coconut Shrimp. We ordered both and those were two of the best apps we have had on Hilton Head. We get the tuna apps at most restaurants and this was on top. The Coconut shrimp was voted the favorite app, so good. Besides that we had 3 Filets, the Steak and Fries and half rack rib. Hardly any left on the plates. We had to get one key lime pie for the table, also very good, plate was cleaned! Congratulations to the owners for running such a great restaurant, wonderful experience from the time we parked til we left. We don’t live in Sea Pines but just bring your gate pass in and they pick up that cost for you !

We had an amazing experience. It was my fiancé’s birthday and Truffles was the perfect place to celebrate. The ambience is romantic and luxurious. The staff and our server were perfect. The owner saw to it that my fiancée had her favorite flavor birthday cake. It was a wonder evening. The filet was cooked perfectly. The meatloaf was amazing. The New Orleans pasta was decadent. If you’re looking for a great night out, this is the place to go!

Wow! Might be the best restaurant in Hilton Head Island right next to Hinoki Sushi! Our service was fantastic, and so was the food. It was such a great vibe in there, great lightning, and great menu selection. It wasn’t too crowded. Also, amazing deserts!

This visit surprised us. My wife and I are foodies, and have visited Hilton Head many times. I thought we had found all the great food on the island, but last night we had one of our best meals. No it’s not oceanfront, yes it’s in a strip mall, but wow it’s a beautiful restaurant that executes really well.

Top notch experience last night at Truffles Cafe. The interior of the restaurant is just gorgeous, with an upscale, sophisticated feel. In spite of that, we felt perfectly comfortable in our casual attire. Our server, while new in his role, got everything right. He was cheerful, attentive, offered great suggestions and made our experience overall a memorable one. Our drinks (Paloma and Martini) were a lovely way to start off the meal. Shortly after warm bread with garlic chive butter arrived at the table, our starter of Baked Brie followed. It was baked in a flaky, turnover-style pastry crust, dotted with Kahlua-soaked pecans, and served with toasted baguette slices. Our entrees (Crab Cake and Grilled Ahi Tuna) were delicious and cooked to perfection. We wrapped up our meal with a shared slice of Key Lime pie – a decadently scrumptious finish. All of the staff here were friendly and helpful. We could not be more pleased and would definitely visit again if we return to Hilton Head. One tip for anyone who wants to make a visit to Truffles Cafe and is NOT staying on the island. There is a $9 entrance fee at the gate to enter the island and you’ll need to be prepared to pay that to enter and visit the restaurant. Thanks so much for the lovely meal and service! Would highly recommend.

This place is a gem! We really enjoyed our meal here. The ambiance and vibe are top notch, as well as the food and service! I ordered the sesame chicken and it was full of flavor, which was seated on wasabi rice – absolutely delicious! The bread and butter they serve you are seriously scrumptious. It overall made for such a nice evening for our family.
