The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making the experience even better from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely amazing—rich flavors, perfectly prepared, and clearly made with care and passion. Every bite was outstanding.
This small, unassuming restaurant is a true hidden gem in Desert Hot Springs. Nothing but praise for the food, the service, and the overall experience. Highly recommended—you’ll be glad you stopped in.
It’s clearly a family-owned and family-run restaurant, and that shows in the quality and care they put into every dish. Nothing felt rushed or mass-produced.
Spoiler alert: the food can take some time to come out, but that’s because it’s freshly cooked with love and attention. If you’re in a hurry, this may not be the place — but if you value real taste and quality, have patience. It’s absolutely worth the wait.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for genuine Indian food that doesn’t compromise on authenticity.
Really enjoyed their chicken masala and lamb curry. The naans were also really good. Good portion as well. Pretty good food and price in a small town.
They only have a few tables so there might be a short wait.
I ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan, and it was hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The butter chicken was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the garlic naan was unreal. Soft, fresh, and full of flavor. Someone else in our group ordered the chicken tikka masala and loved it just as much. Every bite was satisfying, comforting, and clearly made with care.
The service was excellent. Our waiter was extremely kind and genuinely tried his best to make sure we had a great experience. You could tell he cared, which made the meal even better. The restaurant itself is in a strip mall and doesn’t look fancy from the outside, but do not let that fool you. This is one of those places where the food speaks for itself.
If you’re in the Palm Springs area, I honestly recommend skipping the overpriced and touristy downtown Palm Springs restaurants and coming here instead. It’s worth the short drive. Prices were very reasonable, around ten to twenty dollars per person, which is an amazing value for the quality and portion sizes.
There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, which is great, and while parking can be a little tricky, there is a lot available. I didn’t notice a kids menu, so I can’t really speak to that, but for anyone who enjoys great food, this place is a must.
Five stars without hesitation. Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had, and now I’m officially hooked.
When you order you are given the choice of spice level. We keep trying new dishes and our servers on occasion have recommended other dishes that pair deliciously with our choice of first dish.
Some of our current favorites are the Lamb Korma, Chicken Karahi, Aloo Gobhi, Matar Paneer and of course Naan bread. The mixture of flavors, sauces and spices are exceptional. We will keep returning to this little gem of a restaurant for the delicious food and friendly staff.
We got the chicken makhani and chicken tikka masala (both at medium spice), and the garlic naan. The dishes are so incredibly creamy and flavorful I felt the urge to lick the plates clean. On top of that, the service was amazing.
