Extremely Disappointed- Cold Pizza, Colder Service!
I normally don’t write reviews, but after what happened at the Beaverton location, I feel like others should know before ordering here.
I placed an online order and, due to a recent family tragedy, I arrived later than I originally planned to pick it up. When I got there, I found my pizza just sitting on top of a machine — completely cold. The box itself was cold to the touch. I politely asked if they could reheat it, thinking that was a simple and reasonable request.
The employee, who said his name was Matt, told me I should “go home and heat it up at 350°.” I honestly thought I misheard him, so I asked again to clarify, and he doubled down — basically telling me to take the pizza I just paid for and reheat it myself. When I asked if he was a supervisor, he replied, “I guess I am,” in the most dismissive tone imaginable.
I then asked for a printed receipt, which he handed over with obvious annoyance. I even offered to pay for a new pizza instead, but he flat-out refused and said, “That’s all I can do for you tonight,” making it clear I should just leave. No apology, no basic courtesy — nothing.
The box literally says “Hot and Fresh,” but my pizza was cold and the service was colder. I ended up taking it home and reheating it myself, which is ridiculous considering what I paid for. Mistakes happen, but there’s no excuse for rudeness or lack of basic customer service.
If management reads this, I truly hope they address this behavior internally. No customer should ever be spoken to that way — especially when they’re being polite and just asking for help.
To anyone thinking of ordering from this location: be warned. If your order isn’t perfect, don’t expect them to care or do anything to make it right. I won’t be returning after this experience, and I sincerely hope others don’t have to deal with the same treatment I did.

The pizza and wings were great and saved the review dropping below 4 stars. Very flavorful and cooked perfectly. Beer was pretty good. Service was slow when it’s busy as only one person is taking orders and also pouring beers at the same time. Tables were messy upon arrival and we had to clean our table/chairs prior to sitting down. Would go back but would just have lower expectations for service/cleanliness.

The pizza is decent and, we got a half pepperoni and half margarita pizza. It was cooked well with a little bit of a crisp on the pepperoni but not burnt. The crust was pretty tasty as well. They serve decent beers with the volatile substance being one of my favorites.

We’ve had several positive experiences here in the past, but our visit this past Thursday was incredibly disappointing. After ordering a pizza, we watched a server attempt to deliver a pizza to the table next to us. They rejected it because it wasn’t the square pizza they ordered. Instead of taking it back to the kitchen, the server walked to the station and then immediately brought that same pizza to our table. It was clearly not what we ordered. When I questioned him, he claimed they ‘just made it differently today’ and mentioned ricotta cheese, but failed to mention it was covered in hot honey. My son took a bite and was upset by the heat. It’s clear the server tried to pass off a mistake as our order to save effort. While the kitchen eventually made the correct pizza, the lack of honesty and the disregard for our preferences and transparency was unacceptable.

My family and I go to Von Ebert on an (almost) weekly basis. We love the staff. They always remember us and chat if they aren’t too busy. We absolutely love the Chicken Bacon Ricotta and the deep dish Spicy Pep. We look forward to dining at Von Ebert each weekend!

The spacious restaurant is filled with bright sunlight, pleasant staff, and patio seating outside. We had the Pesto Italian Sandwich and a 12-inch modern margherita pizza. The sandwich was much larger than we expected and the outside was crispy and delicious. The pizza was also delicious, with a chewy dough and a simple medium pesto flavor.

I’ve been to the restaurant a couple of times and enjoyed their vegan cheese and veggie pizza but always wished there were options for vegan proteins. Then yesterday I discovered vegan toppings were available on doordash (but oddly not on their restaurant menu). I ordered the vegan sausage and peppers with mushrooms added and it was exactly what I had been craving. They use high quality toppings and the vegan sausage was great. Needless to say, I will be doordashing at this place again.

16oz pint $9.90 with a 20% tip is a bit high for the area. Za for lunch was reheated & decent. At least the crust was crispy. Beers were tasty & draught lines were clean. They had run out of Volatile Substance IPA, but their Pale ale was equally tasty. 80’s/90’s rap was appreciated by me, but not the older folks next to me. If I was to come back here, I’d order the pizza to go & skip the pricy beers. Bus your own table.

Don’t get the “deep dish.” We were craving Pop Pizza but they didn’t open until 3:00, so we decided to give this a try. The deep dish is $18 for these four pieces and the pizza is literally the same thickness as their thin crust round pizzas. The three stars are for the quality ingredients and flavor as well as being open for lunch. The pizza took about 15 minutes longer than the stated 20 minutes. 35 minutes isn’t crazy to wait for pizza, but manage your expectations because the restaurant won’t.

Great pizza by the slice offered here on limited toppings and they all tasted great. We wanted to try their beer flight but they were so short staffed, they just couldn’t service it due to how long the queue was on a Saturday lunch hour. You pay at the counter and then they bring the food to you. It’s great to see all their beer awards lined up on the wall as you wait in the queue.
