What a great find! I’ve been to many of the Mexican food spots on Carson in Hawaiian Gardens but somehow Tacos Sahauyo escaped me.
The menu had much more to offer than your average taqueria. I asked the cashier for some recommendations and she said the chile relleno were super popular and also that they had just finished a new batch of posole. I ordered both. They were both great. The red sauce with the chile relleno had a nice kick to it and I really enjoyed that they used queso fresco in the chili instead of a more melty cheese. The posole was very rich and well seasoned without being salty.
Another spot to add to my rotation for sure.

I had the big bowl of Menudo which was really really good. My son loves their tacos and Horchata. My mom loves their taquitos and potato tacos.

This was my first time coming here and I wish I knew about the establishment earlier. The food was very good, especially when considering the price. The pork and beef we ordered were amazing and the service was overall great too. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for Mexican food in the area.

Wow. Visited this random place and boy did we find a gem. Food is delicious. Has a big variety of items. Tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas fritas (yum), Caldos, huaraches, sopes and more. Not only delicious but great prices. Tough to find a place like this. If I could, I would definitely return 100%. Stamp of approval.

1st time customers, OmG everything we tried was delicious and authentic, I’m in love, this is definitely my 1st choice when it comes to Mexican food. We tried the fried quesadilla combo from this momenton, the carne asada plate, and the tacos dorados de papa… not even one bit of regret nor disappointment… Very happy customers!

The meat wasn’t cooked throughly, the food had no salt or taste. I got a really bad stomach ache from eating here. Their hand soap in their restroom smells really bad. Something is not right with that place.

The salsa all three were so flavorful. The pozole with the taquitos de pollo (chicken) was delicious. The asada burrito was packed with flavors. 10/10 Will be coming again.
