This place used to be good. We made a special trip to stop here and was shocked that there are cockroaches literally crawling on the buffet wall and the counter top attached to the buffet and across the floor. The waitress said she’s aware and it’s been a problem for some time. There is also a mouse hole in the woman’s bathroom wall. You can tell mice come in and out over the base trim. The trim is actually dirty of them coming and out.

Called in on my way home from work, but I’ve eaten here all my life. I was worried with the change of owners but I met the owner tonight as he was working his butt of filling in where ever he was needed (he was cooking and brought five to go plates to the counter and Sacked them up while providing friendly chit chat. It wasn’t for the lack of help as there are many friendly waitresses and other staff members he just took it upon himself. The food was better then anything I’ve eaten from there in a long time! I had Philly steak sandwiches. A ribeye steak. And butterfly shrimp. Very high quality food, and for the price you couldn’t get any better the Reagan cafe! I love this place as I feel I’ve grown up here. I am a relative of the former owners. I’m very pleased with the new owner and his lovely staff! If you ever find yourself around the area you should treat yourself to country food in a very comfortable atmosphere!

I just ordered one of their dinner plates, a bacon cheeseburger, and a plate with chicken strips and tater tots. This order came to $39.99. I cannot even MAKE that MAKE SENSE. But anyway, the dinner plate which was fish nuggets, turnip greens, mashed potatoes and black eyed peas and NONE OF IT WAS SEASONED. Like at ALL. Not a bit of salt, not a bit of pepper. Nothing. Just bland straight vegetables. They forgot the bacon on my bacon cheeseburger. I am pretty upset about how much it cost me on top of getting very bland, unseasoned food. I realize everything has gone up in cost. But I cannot fathom charging what they did for sub par food. Do better. This place used to be so good. I’ll pay whatever but it better be right and it better be seasoned. So dosappointed.
