My Five stars is for Riley! What a Gem of employee!
Riley was so professional, very attentive and just on top of everything at the bar!
Despite how busy she was especially after the entertainment started outside, she kept up with the crafting of drinks, cashing out diners who finished and refilling our drinks. She never lost her cool or her concentration! I am allowing myself to for a raise and a promotion from FMK for Riley!
The food was nicely prepared, and I will allow myself to make one comment about the spinach dip and how I would prefer it to be served with chips instead of the buttered bread if I may!
Keep up the good work Riley and when we come back we will be back because of you! Thank you for such great service.

We had a great experience dining here! The food was absolutely delicious — everything came out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can tell the kitchen really cares about quality.
Eli L. was an amazing server and made the whole experience even better. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing. He gave great recommendations and kept everything running smoothly.
Between the fantastic food and Eli’s excellent service, this was a truly enjoyable meal. We’ll definitely be coming back and would love to be served by Eli again! Highly recommend!

OMG ~ we’re visiting The Villages and of all the restaurants we tried this was the hands down winner. There are a lot of great comfort foods on the menu. I tried the corned beef and cabbage which was out of this world. Although every restaurant seems to have ruebens these days, Sawgrass Tavern’s smokes the rest. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice as well.

I spent somewhere around three hours of my day at Sawgrass Tavern‘s and I not only enjoyed the atmosphere, but also my server was very welcoming consistent and intensive on all of my dishes in service needed within that timeframe, beyond great service is the best I can put it. Her name is Julia and I would recommend others to come to this establishment but also I will be a long-term customer going forward because of Julia.

My Husband and I stopped in to Sawgrass Tavern to grab a bite to eat before listening to Uncle Bob’s Rock shop. Both of us were really hungry for Fish and Chips. We were so impressed with the size of the Fish and the large portions. Our server Eli was very good and on purpose!! We will definitely be making this our top restaurant for Fish and Chips!!

Not a fan. Sat outside at the bar which is the best thing about our visit. Not crowded and a lovely sunny afternoon. One waiter and she was super busy though. Ordered fish and chip because a patron sitting next to us highly recommended it. It honestly looked delicious but we were disappointed. Crispy but no flavor. Even the fries tasted bland. Coslaw was ok but not sweet. Bar waiter didn’t come back to check on us and my fiance needed more drink. Oh well. We tried the place but won’t come back.

Great experience at the bar! Sawgrass Tavern has done an exceptional job at creating a friendly environment for us! I visited this past weekend with my wife and there was a very nice and friendly bartender named Jordan who took care of us. She gave excellent service and the food was great! We will definitely be back to see her and eat some great food!

We were 2 couples out for dinner – first time here.
I don’t write reviews normally but we were surprisingly disappointed.
The meat pieces in the potato soup were chewy, the shepherds pie was nothing special and the schnitzel was overcooked and dry.
The manager offered a replacement which was ok, but no one really enjoys starting their meal when the rest of their party is finishing theirs.
The brisket chips appetizer was tasty but it was hard to find any brisket in it.
