Very down home place with great food and service. Breakfast was amazing. We came in at about 7:00 in the morning and they were very full plates. Good size food options. Also the eggs were made perfectly over easy. Perfect! Over medium was perfect. Very impressed with how the eggs came out. Also, it is just a very relaxing place to have breakfast and the corned beef hash was amazing… Very reasonably priced a must stop!!

Great food, great service, good conversation and excellent salsa! After discovering this treasure awhile back I promised myself that when in the neighborhood I would drop in for a meal. Everything on the menu is delicious. I always grab a quart or two of salsa to go.

As my wife and I were driving back from San Tan we decided to check out a local restaurant in Coolidge. I tell you hands down the best biscuits and gravy I had in such a long time. You know when it’s made fresh and by hand! I got the full order of biscuits and gravy combo. Bacon, eggs with cheese and green onions with a full order of biscuits. My wife ordered the double up hash browns homemade! So delicious! Stacey our waitress is super sweet and took the time to explain the menu. Stacey checked on us regularly and was super friendly. 5 Stars and will definitely be returning! So yummy!

Tag’s a main street old dinner, have been there several times for breakfast. This time it seems a bit pricey for what I got, 2 eggs, bacon, pancakes & coffees. The cakes are a good size but lacking flavor and fluffyness. Service is always good, a working man’s dinner.

We go here when in town. They are a reasonably priced local breakfast and lunch diner. Their food is all home cooked and delicious. The Mexican dishes are authentic and the traditional breakfasts are delicious. Their Homemade hot sauce beats Chilula and Tabasco any day. It’s only open until 2 pm.

We stopped in one morning on a road trip after a barn digging. Driven by a few times & always wanted to stop.

If you don’t like old diners, don’t go.

If you like old diners & people who will stop at your table to chat to show off their adorable baby, good food & are willing to wait for your meal to be cooked, go.

Place was clean, people friendly & the coffee kept coming.

We ordered a chicken fried steak, everything omelet & a coffee.

Honestly, one of the best diner breakfasts on the road we have experienced. Their homemade hot sauce was a total bonus.

We dropped around $30 for 2 breakfasts, coffee, tip

Came in for coffee and pie while our truck was getting serviced across the street. Coffee was decent enough, and the pie tasted good. Not sure if they were fresh baked in house; tasted a bit institutional.

So I heard that tags was all the rave. A few people told me it was a good diner. But it left something to be desired. The food was too greasy for one. The food tasted like it was a few days old, too dry and just seemed like there wasn’t any care to preparing our food. The portions were small. Unless there is a change. I am not returning there ever!

Tag’s is an authentic small town diner. They offer a wide variety of menu items. The people are friendly, competent, and attentive. My omelet was delicious, and so wee the side dishes. My coffee cup was never low or empty.

I was driving through Coolidge with my ex when he suggested that we eat breakfast at Tag’s Cafe. I was hungry, so, of course, I said yes! One catch, “It is to be your treat,” he said. He was helping me out by giving me a ride to Gilbert, so how could I refuse!

Tag’s Cafe is an unassuming eatery, one that you might pass by if you didn’t know any better.
Now I’ve only eaten there one time, and the one time was breakfast. So that is what I will speak to for now. But let me say it loud, that breakfast was downright, great!

We were seated right away. The waitress was friendly and quick to bring the menus and our drink orders. After ordering, our food was out in no time, as well.

My ex, Rick, and I each chose #6 from the menu, the breakfast special, which consisted of your choice of ham, bacon or sausage patties; served with 2 eggs, hashbrowns, and your choice of toast. He ordered iced tea and
I ordered a rootbeer.

When our order was up, it was brought out quickly! There were no bells or whistles, just plenty of great-tasting food! The eggs, over hard, we’re spot on; the rye toast was buttered perfectly, clear to the edges;
the hashbrowns were
perfectly cooked; and the BACON was crispy; outstanding!

Need I say more?!!

I leave you with these words,
Visit Tag’s Cafe for breakfast soon. You will be glad you did. ❤️
