I ordered a Thanksgiving sub and it came with no joke, a single slice of turkey, no stuffing, and it was cold. To be fair I picked it up 2 minutes after the selected pickup time so I guess 2 minutes is long enough for a hot sandwich to drop below room temp. There was no pickle with my sandwich either and I am thoroughly displeased. I have given this grease trap of a sandwich spot too many chances to learn how to make a regular sandwich. Any other firehouse subs in the city, nay, the world could figure out how to assemble their measly menu to an acceptable degree, but the firehouse subs on university drive is just ridiculous. Nothing fills up a man’s belly better than a cold bread sandwich with cranberry and mayo, thanks alot, I’ll be crying the rest of the night and dreaming of the Thanksgiving sandwich that has eluded my grasp.

Cashier was really hateful, didn’t smile once, me , my youngest son, and 2 of his friends stopped in to grab a bite. We were the only customers there at the time, no one welcomed or greeted us when we walked thru the door or approached the counter to order, I saw the French dip advertisement on the window as I walked up to the door and thought I’d try it, it was hands down the best French dip I’ve ever ate! No lie! On point! The boys for was good too, the only downfall was the customer service from all the employees, but mostly from the lady behind the register. Her whole demeanor and body language was upset that we were even there. Store was not as clean as it should have been either, with us being the only customers for at least 2½hrs no one ever tried to clean the food off the tables or out from under the tables on the floor, we had to wipe a table ourselves just to sit and eat our meal.

Had a great dine in experience. I got the steamer and my husband the hero. Two drinks and the Mac and cheese. All that was $33. It all tasted delicious! Only thing I took a star off for was the bread, being too much compared to the meat. The Mac and cheese wasn’t that great. It had to do with my taste, I just didn’t care for it. The service was awesome! I would definitely be back to try something else! I most like who they, the company, represent.

I made a mistake on my online order because the customize options weren’t blatantly in my face and I was rushing to place the order and forgot. I realized as soon as I submitted it and called to let them know what I didn’t want on it. They were friendly and my order was completely correct when I arrived. Great and fast service. I left a tip for the team. The tip jar should be at the register. I almost didn’t see it. The only issue was the bottom of bread got a little soggy from water in the bottom of the to go container. Otherwise a great overall experience.

Ugh, talk about a mayo overload on my Italian sandwich ! I’m so bummed because my daughter and I ❤️ this place. We got takeout, and when we got home , it was just swimming in mayo. Guess I’ll be scraping some off! I ordered a kid’s turkey sandwich with NO cheese, emphasis on the *no*. Got home and guess what? It had cheese! My daughter was so bummed, and honestly, so am I.
