Good experience overall – good food and nice people.
We stopped by here today for an early lunch or late breakfast…It’s interesting that you order first and then go sit which makes it a tad awkward…especially for refills or other needs.
The food came out in a reasonable timeframe, was fresh and tasted good. I thought French toast made out of multigrain bread was odd but it tasted fine. I think the food for the price is very reasonable.
I don’t drink coffee but it seems like there are lots of options there if you do.

Lovely! We enjoyed stopping by here on our way down to Atlanta. The breakfast croissant was delicious and we both got lattes we loved. The staff was so kind and accommodating. We will return!

Very disappointed in the way I was treated today. I always come here for breakfast and order the Breakfast eggs platter with turkey bacon, spinach, and cheese. The last two times I’ve been here they have gotten my order wrong. The first time I was given turkey sausage instead of turkey bacon. When I informed the owner who rang my order in that day he stated “you told me turkey sausage” and seemed annoyed at having to remake it. Today was the same situation all over again, except they served me turkey instead of turkey bacon this time. When I again informed the owner who was working the register when I placed my order he again stated “you told me turkey” and took the plate and walked off. They only print out a copy of your payment but not your actual order on the receipt so I had to ask the owner if he had a way to see what I ordered. He begrudgingly printed my order and it read “Turkey Bacon”. He handed it to me and before I could continue speaking to him he walked away. When he came back he said “yes yes turkey bacon we bring to your table go go kitchen make mistake.” I am not so much upset at the mistake as I am the way the owner treated me. He stated he was too busy to talk because he was short staffed. I came to sit down at my table and the owner’s wife came to ask if everything was okay. I informed her that I did not mind the kitchen making a simple mistake but what upsets me is the owner turning his back to me in the middle of me trying to explain my order was placed correctly. I asked her to speak to him about his customer service and she said okay I’ll have him come back. He came to my table and said “I am sorry it was kitchen mistake but I told them to fix when you complain.” I informed him that I am okay with the kitchen making a mistake but having customer service and restaurant experience myself as a manager or owner your job is to speak with the customer to make sure they feel heard. I informed the owner that I can’t help but think if I looked older or if I came in with a suit and tie I would have been treated differently. The owner simply stated “no its just a waste of time for me to talk to you when I need to speak with the customers.” I informed him I was also a paying customer but simply put the way I was treated made me feel like I was not worth even 5 minutes. Again, this is not a complaint against the kitchen but the owner and the way he handled this situation. I do not think I will be back because of the way I was treated today.

Cozy small cute coffee shop with a full breakfast and lunch menu. The food here is simple, well portioned, and clearly homemade. Everything we have tried so far has been excellent. The coffee is also excellent and they offer a full espresso menu. Everything here is reasonably priced. This is our new go to neighborhood breakfast and coffee shop. It’s across the street from our neighborhood and glad we have a local gem so close.

When you first walk in it’s a relaxing atmosphere. It’s a restaurant that also has couches with a lounge area. You can come and unwind or work on projects. I always see people doing a combination of both. I got the country breakfast. Everything was hot & fresh. The iced cafe mocha was great. The coffee is very good. I will come here or Starbucks for coffee. That’s how tasty it is. You may need to season the food to your taste preferences. They bring out butter, jelly, & other condiments to add different flavoring. My family liked it a lot.

III. QUALITY
I came here strictly for the coffee so I can’t say anything about the food.. overall, I liked that Cafe Au Lait uses glass dishware when serving beverages but the cappuccino I had did not reach to standard. The milk wasn’t properly frothed and I ended up drinking straight foam. I’ll have to try the food to see if I can note improvement in general quality.
