The food tasted good.
The rest of our experience here was questionable. Like management & training & cleanliness concerns. An example was the menu was placed on our plates. Menus go through a lot of hands & are dirty, I don’t want that on my plate. Another is my wife & I shared a dish. We do that often. They serve soup & a sad salad before the main dish. So they bring the soup, the other 5 people at our station, whatever you call it, got a small bowl & he only gave my wife & I one bowl. Really? It was broth, not soup. They couldn’t just get an extra bowl of broth? Same for the salad, which was cheap iceberg lettuce with a vinaigrette. Not like the cheap iceberg lettuce with carrots, it was only iceberg.
Will we return? Definitely not

The staff was so kind!! They really made us feel welcome, and we thought the food was great. We came here on a Thursday night about an hour before they closed and there was no wait time at all to get a table. I genuinely believe they should be busier!

Dalley was an awesome chef for us, had funny jokes and treated us amazingly while making our amazing 5 star food. Will definitely be coming back as this made our experience for my Navy buddy enjoy Oregon even more when he visits.

Best hibachi in Oregon. We have had hibachi all over the world and this is some of the best. The food is more than plentiful and delicious. The owners/ employees are delightful and we highly recommend!! (The soup is amazing too).

Best Japanese Steakhouse I’ve been to! Their food show had things I haven’t seen at others, they were funny and kid friendly. Definitely worth the price. They served generous portions, and the steak and lobster dinner was AH-MAZING!!! Great atmosphere! There is also a bar area and a wide variety of alcohol.

The food was excellent. The atmosphere was great. Not crowded at all for a Friday night. Staff is friendly and the owner too time to talk with us about the beer and sake selection. Even let us try samples of some! Definitely going back.

Was flown to Portland due to Fiat Chrysler Automotive training, first time being here found this via google maps. Was absolutely amazing the chief was friendly that it gave you an impression that you have known each other as a very dear family member. I would highly recommended it!!!

This was our first time trying this restaurant. The food was delicious and well seasoned. Service was wonderful and very attentive. They have lots of great hibachi options. It did have less of a show than other hibachi places but the chef was fun and interactive. It was kind of sad to see a great restaurant pretty empty on a Friday night. I hope they get more business because the food is so good. For those complaining about the charge there’s a sign right in the front that states it. Overall highly recommend.

Definitely not coming back to this restaurant. Overpriced and overrated. Our chef did not look like he wanted to be there and even said that he didn’t want to cook at all. Food was overcooked and the quality was bad. The grill looked like it was not cleaned properly and the chef was using the same spatula for everything. One of the worst restaurant experiences.

Soup was good. Food was pretty good but they cut so many corners to save a dime. Such as they use margarine instead of butter. Your shrimp appetizer is actually them throwing three grilled baby shrimp on your plate with your veges n meat. White dried out plain rice. They charge you a MANDATORY 18% tip, the list goes on. Nice workers but very overpriced for what we got . The music in the kitchen blares over the radio playing in the restaurant, though it was ok when overriding the commercials.
