This is an incredible place for Mexican food! It’s unassuming but the flavors stick with you for weeks afterwards. We had the vegetarian tacos on multiple occasions and they were so delicious! A must try in SSF.

One of my friends found a cockroach, in her plate, and the waitress was asking if the others found something similar in their plates, what kind of customer service is that. Be aware, I wouldn’t recommend eating there.

I was told they had an actual dine in restaurant because I would usually order from their food truck at Malloys Tavern whenever we needed a drink from a long days work which their food is always on point. The restaurant is a cute little spot, the aroma was quite inviting while walking into the place. Music made you feel relaxed and the staff were very friendly. They had tables where we could dine in and their food is as flavorful and tasty there just like what we ate from their food truck. I’m glad we went to try it out. Great place to just sit and enjoy a nice meal with loved ones.

5 stars for the burrito. It was perfectly toasted after wrapping, great meat, fillings, and the right portion for a reasonable human being. Minus one star for the ultra stinginess with the chips and salsa. I paid with a credit card for my meal only to find that chips are an extra $0.75 and since you needed $5 minimum to use a credit card, I didn’t have any cash on hand. The burrito came and it didn’t have any salsas so I asked if I could have 2 and they reluctantly brought me some.

Maybe I’m crazy, but chips and salsa, and at the least the salsa, should be fairly standard at any taqueria these days.

Wonderful Mexican restaurant. Bought a fajita plate with steak and seafood. Wonderful taste and was good and spicy. It had everything like beans, salad, sour cream, jalapenos and onions. The restaurant was fully packed but the customer service was fast. They were very friendly and got the order ready so quickly. The salsa and chips complementary was great. The portion was good for the price and the price was affordable. Overall, a good restaurant for a wonderful Mexican dinner.

The Carne Asada Nachos were a knockout—crispy chips loaded with tender, flavorful steak, gooey cheese, and just the right amount of toppings. It’s a hearty plate that’s perfect for sharing (or not—no judgment!).

But the real star for me? The Gorditas de Chorizo. These were next-level good—perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with savory, spicy chorizo that melts in your mouth. Easily one of the best gorditas I’ve had anywhere.

The staff is friendly, the vibe is casual, and the food speaks for itself. If you’re in the area and looking for authentic Mexican eats that go beyond the basics, Las Pencas is a must-visit.

You can’t deny traditional Oaxacan food. sower irons And the red sauce is very spicy so beware if you’re sensitive. I am a constant customer here and will continue to do so when I visit

Las Pencas always satisfies my cravings for authentic Oaxacan food because the food tastes homemade and reminds me of what my Oaxacan grandma cooks.

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Lucero the cashier was rude and unwelcoming, which made ordering uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for it—it was bland and lacked flavor. I was hoping for a better experience and don’t think I’d return.
