Visiting from out of town..this is my second visit to Vesuvio’s and I have not been disappointed. So many great items that I cannot find in Virginia.

I tried three smaller items today, which was more than I could eat, boxed up one item and had to get another Italian sausage roll for the ride home. (It was Sooo good)

Just ordered a large Sicilian pizza, now downsized to 8 cut but also seems to be a longo pizza shell. Came cold and barely cooked. It’s a shame…. They used to have great food

What has happened to Vesuvios in Drums? What a disappointment anymore. They have fallen into the same trap of quantity over quality. The hoagies taste like sour cardboard and the antipasto used to be the best now has little flavor or very sour. Even their signature pizza carried over from Wyoming street is awful, it’s either doughy, cold or drenched in sauce with little cheese. My most recent order will be my last until they go back to the old recipes packed with flavor. One thing that hasn’t suffered for them is the ability to remove flavor by using inferior substitutions and yet increase cost. Two hoagies and a salad $50. There are far better options for this price.

You Need To Know? Arrived around 5:45 on a friday night & we were able to seat ourselves. The bar itself was packed. Waitress was friendly, polite & prompt. We ordered the Detroit style pizza, Jameson chicken bites & a North Main Cheesesteak. The cheesesteak had jalapeños poppers, onion rings & southwestern ranch on a cheesesteak. Filling & huge to say the least. The Jameson sauce on the chicken bites had a great flavor. Detroit style pizza was crispy on the bottom but soft in the middle. Delicious & well made. Now You Know! -TBH

We recently Atttended my Birthday here with 16 Family Members in attendance of varying ages. I made reservations in advance and Vesuvios did not disappoint. The food, service and atmosphere were all superb!!!!
The homemade cheesecake for dessert was the crowning touch!!!
Thank you so much Vesuvios!!!

If you want the owner screaming at you because you asked where a slice of pizza was after 35 minutes then this place is for you. My family has patronized this restaurant for decades and we were absolutely appalled with the behavior of the owner and of course the service. We will not return.

This is the happiest food place in Pennsylvania. Personally the penne pasta with meatball and enough garlic added to kill a vampire (custom addition) made for the tastiest thing eaten in years. So good!!! Amazing wait staff and chefs are top notch. The waffle fries are crunchy and expertly made too. Thanks all!

Buyer beware their version of a margarita pizza is a cheese pizza was whole tomato slices on it. Embarrassing. Also 12 dollars for a spoon full of anipasto and a crumb of bread to go along with it. Shameful worst 50 bucks I’ve ever spent.

Absolutely loved Vesuvio’s! I used to go as a child when they were in Hazleton. Now, I was in town with my own five children and we had a wonderful time at this “new to me” location. I can’t say enough. Will be back!
