This was a very good surprise. The outside of the place doesn’t do justice for the inside. Excellent service by everyone. It felt like we had 5 or 6 waitresses to make sure everything was on point. Food was delicious, my omelette was one of the best I’ve ever had.

A good spot! I got an eggs Benedict (vegetarian with spinach as an eggs florentine) A hot tea, an iced coffee and my date had a classic breakfast with bacon and corned beef hash. They make their own here and also over chouriço hash which is great because there are a lot of Portuguese residents in this area of East Providence.
Plenty of seating. They let us pick the table we wanted. Seems to be new updated booth seating. The food was ready SO fast too. They gave us our drinks quickly as well. Good service.
I didn’t love the style of the potatoes here but my date did so maybe that was just me.

I have no complaints about the waitresses or the food. My bad experience was with the manager there. I was there having breakfast with my 15 month old son. As babies he made a little bit of a mess, that i honestly did not notice. The table was clean, but he dropped some food on the floor. As we were getting up to leave the manager came up to me and my stepmom and gave us a wet cloth and said ” Here this is for you to use to clean up the mess on the floor”. I’m sorry but I go out to eat often with my son , and despite whatever food he drops i have never had anyone come up to me and ask that I clean the floor under the table. If there was a big mess of course I would clean up, but there was hardly anything to clean. When my stepmother went I went up to her she was rude and even raised her voice at us. She told me stepmother she was wrong. For someone who is supposed to be professional she was quite the opposite. I will no longer be going there. I know my lack of business won’t impact business that much but hopefully others can see this and question the management there. There were several customers there and she still was yelling at my stepmother in front of everyone

Very convenient place, at least for us. We often walk there for breakfast. Their food is delicious and freshly made. Their pancakes are pretty good. Their service is great. I recommend it.

This is a diner. With the best version of diner food. Great portions. Great rye bread for the toast. Even nice to-go boxes. My favorite is the cheese and pepperoni omelette. Somehow they get the pepperonis crispy in the middle of the omelette – not quite a miracle – but something divine is going on. Just a throwback experience in a great way. Keep doing your thing Broadway!

If you want a consistent well made breakfast, come here. The waitstaff are welcoming, warm, & charming. The food always delivers satisfaction. We recommend the 2 egg breakfast combo, I get an omelet (sometimes egg white) with veggies. The pancakes are huge enough to split. All platters come with homefries & your choice of toast

We have been going to the diner regularly for a few years. When Tony was the manager and cook everything was very consistent. Good food, good service with all the same servers, the diner was clean and orderly. The food presentation was great and always the correct order. Since Tony retired a couple of years ago and new management came in the diner has gone downhill! Our order is never right, often the food is cold. The food most of the time is thrown on the plate. Every week there is a new server! There is a constant staff change over. The booths are all ripped and taped up. They are uncomfortable to sit on. The restaurant is not clean , the manager is very inappropriate in the way she speaks to the customers using foul language as well. We will not be going back! We kept giving the diner another chance and finally after the last time we were in a couple of weeks ago it was so dirty, food came out all wrong, another new server, and the floor in the downstairs room was so slippery and dirty! The server was even sliding on it! It grossed me right out! Do not sit near the bathrooms because they smell of urine. It’s a shame because it was such a great place to go, however new management has ruined it for us.

Delicious homemade corned beef hash, thick, crispy, soft french toast is fantastic. Wait staff is friendly and personable. I’ve visited Providence several times and can’t recommend any other diner as highly as this one.
