La Tour in Vail was an absolute treat. The food was exceptional, especially the escargot and the BBQ oysters, which were rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Every bite felt thoughtfully crafted.

Our server, Alexander, truly elevated the experience. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and warm without being overbearing, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for throughout the evening. The atmosphere, service, and food all came together for a memorable dining experience.

Highly recommend La Tour for anyone looking for an outstanding French meal in Vail, we’ll definitely be back.

The service was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the hostess with a warm smile. Adam our server did an amazing job explaining the menu and recommended a lot of tasty dishes for me to try. He also made great drinks! The food was cooked to perfection. I have been living in Vail for a few years and have tried many restaurants and this one is by far my favorite. From the moment you sit down to the moment you leave it is an incredible experience. I was in a food coma at the end of the night. The staff is amazing, you can tell they all really care and show great hospitality, very personal and attentive. The restaurant owner came to the table to make sure the food was perfect. She is so sweet. I highly recommend this restaurant as it is by far one of the best in Vail.

We use to love this restaurant. its really a shame; I’m not sure what happened but both the service and the food leave a lot to be desired. I ordered the duck and it was rubbery and the skin was not crispy. My husband had fois gras it it was really nothing special. A tiny mouse with two fresh grapes.
I had to ask our servicer to wipe down the table. He was no where to be found though out the service. Then he dropped of the check without being asked before we finished our food. Both the staff are hanging out in the bathrooms- my kiddo and I waited for good 12 minutes for the restroom just to see a manager and a server come out. The prices are way too high for the quality of food and service that you get. Now i understand why it was so easy to get a table on Friday night

A good choice for a French restaurant in Vail. A combination of salty and sweet flavors from the selected dishes, the first course “Truffle French Onion Soup” was very tasty. For the main course, we ordered three of the options, and they were all really good: “Five Spice Crispy Duck Breast,” “Heluka Pork Chop,” and “Pan Roasted Organic Scottish Salmon.” To top it off, the dessert “Profiteroles with Armagnac Date Ice Cream.” I congratulate the waiter Gustavo, who served us with great courtesy and kindness

I had dinner at La Tour in Vail the other night, and it ended up being one of the best dining experiences I have had. Even though it was off season, the menu felt complete and had something for everyone. I follow a plant based lifestyle, so I usually walk into new restaurants with low expectations, but La Tour changed that immediately.

Our waiter, Carpenter, was outstanding. He treated the menu like it was his own and guided me with real care. He asked thoughtful questions, double checked ingredients, and made recommendations that actually matched what I enjoy. It felt personal and intentional, which is rare even in fine dining.

Chef Paul Ferzacca, the owner, also came out to greet us, and that made the evening even more memorable. He has been cooking in this same Vail location for 27 years, which says everything about the quality of this restaurant. His experience is obvious, but so is his passion. He listened, he cared about our feedback, and he offered custom plant based options without hesitation. That kind of hospitality is hard to find anywhere, especially in resort towns.

I ordered the quinoa salad, and it was honestly the best one I have ever had. It was full of flavor, perfectly balanced, and had just a touch of heat without being overwhelming. I do not handle spice well, so I appreciated the way it woke up my senses without crossing the line. The greens, vegetables, quinoa, and dressing all worked together beautifully. It was vibrant and exciting, not bland or watered down like many vegetarian or plant based options can be.

The bar offerings at La Tour also impressed me. The bartender moved with the confidence of someone who really knows her craft, and the drink list had thoughtful options for every kind of diner. Carpenter’s drink suggestions were perfect.

If you are looking for the best restaurants in Vail, whether you want vegan, vegetarian friendly options, plant based dishes, creative cocktails, or a memorable fine dining experience, I would absolutely recommend La Tour. Even in off season, this restaurant does not cut corners. The service, the food, and the overall experience are all worth it. I would return in a heartbeat.

Elegant upscale restaurant offering exquisite French-American cuisine, an extended wine list, outstanding service and cozy ambience. Generous portions, so we alway shared an appetizer and an entree.

I thought it was a fancy restaurant, but it doesn’t seem like it. Food was nice, we had the escargot, very good. The filet mignon was nice, mushrooms delicious, but the croquettes were very soggy. Wine selection was decent.

We had an excellent experience here. Food, service, atmosphere. All around we were happy. We would highly recommend the Hibachi BBQ Oysters, the lobster bisque, and the Wagyu Steak. The scalloped potatoes that accompanied the Prime Manhattan steak were incredible! (Steak was excellent as well). The cocktails were also really good. We ordered one called the Electric Apricot and it was awesome. After dinner we enjoyed another cocktail called the Dude that was similar to a White Russian. We tried the Apple Date Cake for dessert along with a flight of some dessert wines. The cake was warm and well balanced. Our waitress was kind and attentive. She didn’t rush us and yet she came by often. Yes, the place is expensive but it was one of the best restaurants we have been to in a long time.

Food was ok, my party of 9 was a mix of reviews. Some plates were ok others were good. Service was not on point, even with a reservation our food took a very long time, also the waiters i felt are not in line with a French restaurant experience, they expect the big tips but not top notch.
