The gumbo was amazing, probably the best I’ve had! The Shrimp & Crawfish Fondeaux was really good as well just a bit heavy with all the cheese. But what I loved was the service. One of the waiters there was awesome, I wish I got his name(tall, skinny, white guy). He made the experience there 10X better. Really knowledgeable on the food. Will always eat here when at DFW airport!

Got lucky a lady called me in to sit on the bar as there was going to be 10 minute wait to be seated. Our flight was 2 hours away. Lisa our bartender ran the show! She kept all servers straight and made sure food were delivered on time! She took care of everybody and we were packed! Clean bar and lots of things going on. We had catfish sandwich which was huge! And Mac and cheese which felt like almost straight from home kitchen. I didn’t think it would still live it up in an airport setting and glad our tummies invited us here. Lisa when she realized we were celebrating a birthday—-he had a free key lime pie to go!!! And guess what—-they give military/vet discount! 25%! Can’t beat that!!! Highly recommended!!!

The shrimp and scallop orecchiette pasta was amazing as well as the service, I didn’t really expect too much from a restaurant residing in an airport, but they definitely delivered. If all other items are just as good, I would have thought this is food from a fancy seafood restaurant by a pier or beach or something. I thought it was courteous of them to have the servers ask their customers what time they’re boarding their flights so they can prioritize which meals to get out first. My server was Dylan and he was exceptional as well with the energy and attitude he’s got going. Overall a good experience while having my layover in DFW!

Food is terrific! Nice little place gives off a great upscale restaurant vibe in the middle of a busy airport! Seafood is fresh and staff are awesome! Ren and Leslie at the bar were on spot with drink and menu recommendations. Comic relief came from a server Jose making conversation with all the people and bringing smiles!

Honestly pretty good, like for actual real food, not just “something to eat at an airport.”

The bar is an extension of the main restaurant across the aisle. Same menu and everything. Food comes out pretty reasonably quick—10 to 15 minutes.

If you know what you want when you sit down you can eat quickly and be on your way in 30 minutes. Pretty good option if you have even a modest layover.

My mai tai and rainbow trout with crab were delicious. I had the sweetest server. She was very attentive and even took time to chat with me. Well worth the price. My dinner was a very generous portion for 36 dollars

BREAKFAST IS A MUST…! When facing a long and early layover in terminal C Pappadeaux was a wonderful departure from food court chaos. Our server Emmanuel delivered first class service with eye contact and a smile. The food was solid, the pancakes were generous, everything was fresh and hot. 10 out of 10 would do again to have a break from the airport and for $15-20 it was a steal as airport prices go.

My family arrived around 8 p.m. on a Friday night for our Friday Family night dinner. We were seated near a large, extremely loud party. It was pretty annoying because they did not seem to care about the other tables around them. Once they left, things were much better.
The server was fantastic, and honestly, I’ve never had a bad experience with the service at Pappadeux. For my meal, I stuck with a house salad and collard greens due to my diet restrictions, while my son had shrimp and crab. The food came out at a perfect temperature, which was great.
The restaurant itself is on the cooler side, so it’s a good idea to bring a sweater.
Oh, and they offer a military discount, which was a nice bonus!
