Went to this place after a Kohls Shopping trip on a Monday night. I can’t imagine how busy they are on the weekends. They had several To-go’s waiting and almost a full dining area of folks for a Monday night. The atmosphere is a clean, warm golden yellow with greenery throughout.
It was our first time here, so we wanted something comforting. The Beef Pho was amazing and just what we were looking for and came in a huge bowl. They take pho seriously here.
But first, we tried the Kob Jai appetizer sampler which had chicken satay skewers, veggie spring rolls, fried chicken wonton, and crab rangoon. They were all great and fresh, but my faves were satay skewers and crab rangoon.
I realized they had Thai Iced Tea here too, so I ordered some to-go for dessert because I like to enjoy this separate.
Staff were great, very busy, but for 2 on a Monday, they still kept up with everyone.
Overall, excellent choice for year round dining. They have a very large menu and I’d like to try more!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the design and atmosphere stood out. It’s stylish, welcoming, and sets the perfect tone for a great meal. I ordered the fried rice with crispy chicken at a level 5 spicy (they have a spice scale from 1–5), and as someone who loves heat, they definitely delivered. With bold flavors with just the right kick.
We went on a Thursday night with a couple of friends and had a wonderful time. The owners are a lovely couple who made us feel right at home. They are genuinely warm, friendly, and so personable. This place exceeded expectations in every way, and even the 2 hour drive from New York was totally worth it. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

This place is really nice! Came here for lunch at about Noon on the way up to Maine.
We got two curry soups, a fried tofu app and a thai iced tea. Maybe not the best Thai I’ve had but it’s still great and for the price, it’s a steal.
The tofu was crispy on the outside and piping hot on the inside. The entrees were absolutely enormous and the chicken they use in the soup is tender and flavorful. Honestly, you can feed two people with one bowl easily

Atmosphere is clean and organized, tables are nice and spread out, service was quick, food was amazing, everything tasted fresh and perfect. The flavor on the orange chicken was amazing probably one of the best I had, my husband ordered the pad Thai with chicken which was also very tasty and filling. He only managed to eat 1/3 of it and stuffed himself as well, I ate 1/2 which was very filling and my toddler also ate and we had a lot to take home. It was 18 for mine, and 18 for his as well, price was great, highly recommend.

It may take one I bit to understand the full nature of this fabulous restaurant.
After a few visits I have realized that Kob Jai Pho and Thai is a place dedicated to kindness compassion, super fine Thai food, and The Joy of eating. The whole establishment is surrounded by the traditional way of the Buddha, and one can feel the rich culture all around them.
The food is equally as quality as the service, which are both the very best.
I ordered a huge appetizer consisting of a carousel of crispy egg rolls, chicken satay, flaky cheese puffs and golden bags.
Since I could not resist, I also ordered a bowl of Thom Khar coconut soup, and a side of flaky golden pancakes. After nearly an hour I was so satiated that I made a mental note to come back soon.
I feel it is important to mention, that when one is down and out these people will help you. The entire team of servers and the owner are extremely down-to-earth people.
Everyone smiles with you while you are dining.
Kob Jai Pho and Thai is not hard to find as you are traveling along route 99 through Rocky Hill. You can look up from the Silas Deane highway and see their bright neon sign on the west side of the street.
Once you’ve stepped through the door you will know that you are in a place of peace and fine dining.

We stopped by otw back to NYC. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food is. I had 3 college students with me and they were all impressed by the food and service — you know how hard it is to impress NYers and their food..so im recommending this spot for those who are just looking for a meal otw back to NYC.

Beautiful restaurant with great food. Winter shrimp was something new we tried first time it was really good. Spring roll cover was very fresh and crispy, the sauce also was great! We ordered drunken noodles chicken for my son 2* spicy and it was very spicy for him. We ordered our food with 4* spicy for veg drunken noodles and cashew nut and we loved it. The drunken noodles were little chewey but we asked to make it softer and they did it. Overall very good and will visit again. Very authentic Thai food. We also got mango boba and it was delicious!! Highly recommend!

Our family came here to celebrate my mom’s birthday and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was kind, the restaurant was beautiful, the service was fast, and of course the food was delicious! I loved the spicy red snapper and the seafood lad na! Definitely a great spot and we will be back!
