Can I just say….
I didn’t even pay attention to the # of stars associated. But I ordered some pickup food. Got back and WOW! It was a new experience for this place and now I feel like I missed out on something. I brought my food back to my bar and I am very happy with my self. Man, come by the bar and I’ll buy you one. Thank you.
People, come visit this man.

I’m glad I checked this cart out! They have stuff that toy normally don’t see everyday at the food carts. I was really intrigued with their chicken paella so I ordered it and I am glad that I did. Everything about the paella was excellent! The chicken was also super moist and flavorful. Its definitely a dish worth trying out. The prices are also reasonable.

A sign saying they’ll be back in 30 minutes but no start time so I had no idea when they left or when they’ll be back. I really wanted to try this place since the Indian cuisine truck was also closed. Not sure why that is… it’s such a nice day and this area seems pretty busy. So that’s sad. I stalled by walking my pup around then came back 40 mins later but they are still closed guess I’ll try one of the other trucks here instead. But this is just really bad business.

Wonderful variety of options s including vegetarian and vegan. Chicken Paella had a little kick but so good. And the portions were right on point. Couldn’t have been a better lunch!

I’ve been here a few times already and I really enjoy the food here. The lamb over rice and the chicken paella are my favorite dishes. I ordered the chicken paella last night as I was craving paella, and even though this is different than Spanish seafood paella it still hit the spot. I added some harissa to it as well and it was delicious!

As a bit of a foodie, from Cape Town to Tel Aviv to Istanbul. I love ME food. Usually this has meant a trip downtown to Habibi, or Shalom Ya’ll. So glad I found this wonderful food cart in Sellwood.
Karim is an excellent chef. My wife loves his lentil soup as comfort food when it’s rainy, my go to is the savory stuffed Kafta Kebab pita (gyro style).

What a fantastic little spot! All the other carts were closed due to ice damage, lucky for us we stumbled upon this happy man and his happy little food cart with super yummy food that made our bellies happy.
Super authentic. Flavorful. Fresh. Thank you for the delicious dinner (and thanks for making the lamb gyro to correct my order. – I just got to eating mine finally today, and AMAZINGLY ENOUGH it was just as delicious reheated… which **never** happens.) Bless you!

I was looking for good paella, and this cart had good reviews of paella, so I went out of my way to try it out. La Camel did not disappoint. It’s a Moroccan take on paella which was a little different from the Spanish style I was used to, but equally delicious and interesting to try. We ordered one each of the seafood and chicken paellas. Normally I’d prefer the seafood, but I think their chicken paella might have been the better of the two. Great stuff. I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of their menu.
