This is a family owned restaurant with excellent service, fast delivery of food, delicious flavors. This food has a home-cooked feel. The shrimp Spring rolls were a great way to start the meal. The chicken wings have been previously marinated in fish sauce and therefore didn’t require any additional seasonings or dipping sauces. Delicious! Very crispy. When they came out, we could still hear them sizzling. The broth in the chicken pho was especially delicious. But our favorite item was the grilled pork chop rice plate. if you have a peanut allergy, please be vigilant. Although I ordered my noodle bowl without peanuts, it initially came with peanuts. I quickly identified this and sent it back and was quickly served a new bowl without any peanuts. It was an honest mistake and quickly rectified. Yes overall I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for traditional Vietnamese food with delicious flavors.

when we ask for the check, i paid, after i got the receipt that’ when I saw that they are STILL charging 3% for using a credit card. it was never mentioned on the screen, i dont recall seeing it on the menu and when i left the door didnt have such a sign! I mean, it is 2026 already! COVID is GONE!

My partner and I tried pho here for the first time and it was INCREDIBLE!!! We got the P2 (pho with steak) and P6 (pho with steak and meatballs), both were delicious. We also tried the friend egg rolls, again so delicious!! We will definitely be back. The service was so amazing, Michael was very engaging and made sure our first experience would bring us back! 🙂

I order P8 (Chicken broth and chicken breast) with spring rolls. The food came out quick and was hot. The broth was a bit sweet and flavorful. The spring rolls were crunchy and fresh. I asked for additional sauces like chili oil and was accomodated. The service was quick and efficient and the restaurant is clean. The ambiance was comfy and relaxing even though it was pretty full.
Third time coming here and I will continue coming back! The beef pho is so delicious and even the wings (fresh to order too) are really good.

Pho Thien is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I’ve been coming here for years, and the food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. My wife and I recently had the grilled pork chop, egg cake, and steamed rice. It was absolutely amazing! The meat was tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for true Vietnamese comfort food.

We were in the area and since our event did not start yet we decided to drop by. Chicago was too far for pho but this place was a min away from our event. Came by not expecting much. As we were in the car we saw swams of people in groups heading to this restaurant. I was like what? This place cannot be this good! They had just open and people were lining up to go in. Really??
Yes! The pho is that good! I ordered the usual, Pho Dac Biet, and tasted the broth without anything. Tasted perfect and excellent. Not watered down! Wow. Finished it with zero complaints.
***FYI, I’m a crazy pho eater that has to have pho from all over. I travel far and in between the states. Eating from LA, Vegas, MN, WI, MI, IL, NC, OH, Manhattan, NY, FL, KS, MS, D.C. Canada, etc. I’ve had the best pho (rated by the expert locals) in LA, Hollywood, Chicago, GA, and FL. I make reviews after tasting their pho. I know what pho is good and what is fake!***

Ordered bun bo hue for takeout here last weekend and the soup was full of little beetles. I didn’t notice until I started eating… Tried to call the restaurant back and they were closed. My husband’s pho seemed to be fine, bug-free.

Everything is perfect! Michael and the rest of the staff are really friendly. Restaurant is clean too. I’ve been having a hard time finding strong coffee just like I come from, and this one hit the spot. We live few hours from here but we’ll definitely will come here if we are in the area. Thanks!

I tried Pho Thien for the first time and it was such a great experience! I ordered the P6 pho and a grilled pork banh mi, and both were fantastic.
The P6 was rich and flavorful, with a comforting broth that tasted like it had been simmering for hours. The meat was tender, and the fresh herbs really brought everything together.
The grilled pork banh mi was equally delicious—the bread was perfectly crusty on the outside and soft inside, and the pork had a smoky-sweet flavor that paired beautifully with the pickled vegetables.
