Me and my lady rarely eat here but the past two times we did were when we were shopping and needed a quick bite. Both times we got Andres as a cashier and he was rude. Never greets us with a smile and makes us feel like us ordering is an issue. Both times I ordered a vanilla iced coffee. Both times it was too sweet but this last time I decided to say something about it because I wasn’t about to drink a cup of creamer again. When I asked him to pour more coffee into it to try to make it less sweet he gave me a look like he didn’t want to and said “only this time” but poured more of the coffee mixture instead. He barely heard me out to know that I meant more COFFEE and then made it an issue with his comment like I was trying to ask him to top the cup off when that wasn’t the case. Mind you, the cup was more than halfway full of ice and still had an inch left empty and wasn’t even a full cup to begin with when he handed it to me. I use to work with this company for five years, two as a shift leader, this type of worker really disappoints me when I know the standard rules there and am treated this way. This is the only Burger King in town that I ever have an issue at. And they were slow at the time, it was only me and my lady in line and one other after us.

On Tuesday, 30 April 2024 at 08:30am stop by BK at Montara Waltmart at Barstow, according to the schedule they are open by 08:30am already but they were close still. I guess the manager and supervisors do not care what time this place open. They need new management that can take over the Burger King policies, regulations and responsibilities.

Staff is nice and friendly and quick. I guess too quick since this is all the BBQ sauce they decided to put on my rodeo burger. Every time I come in for the night shift the food quality is way better.

This demonstrates a serious lapse in food safety and hygiene practices. The visible preparation area showed poor sanitation standards, raising concerns about cross-contamination. So, here’s the deal. I popped into Burger King bright and early at 8am, expecting to grab a quick bite. But what do I get instead? An employee telling me they can’t serve me yet because the cashier hasn’t shown up. I mean, come on, really?
Then, a few minutes later, I see this young lady stroll in like she’s on a beach vacation. Guess who? Yep, the cashier. Late and not a care in the world. I ask her if they’re open yet, and she totally ignores me. It’s like I’m talking to a wall!
Honestly, it felt like they didn’t want my business at all. So, I thought, well, if they don’t want my money, someone else will. Ended up at Jack in the Box instead, and guess what? The service was a million times better.
So, here’s my advice – steer clear of this Burger King. Trust me, you’ll save yourself a headache. And hey, Jack in the Box isn’t half bad!

The staff here is very nice and I would rather go out of my way and eat at this Burger King inside of the Walmart then drive thru either of the other two in town. My food is always fresh and I’ve never really had any problem with my orders. As a bonus there is rarely a line and you can get in and out pretty fast even though parking can be difficult outside.

My order was two freshly made whoopers. I waited 10 minutes observing the Management pulling two beef patties out of a container of some type of liquid dripping from the patties. Once I received my sandwiches they were leaking what seamed to be water and oil!!! Disgusting!!!!!! Oh and the sandwiches where cold!!
