In 1981, Steffey’s Pizza reopened its doors in Lavaca, Arkansas. For years, Glenn’s hardworking hands were the only ones that made the dough from scratch. Finally, Glenn decided to teach his daughter LeAnn how to make the dough with his secret recipe. LeAnn worked alongside her parents to build Steffey’s Pizza into what it is today. LeAnn, along with her husband Shayne and their daughter Brier, now own and operate Steffey’s Pizza. Glenn and Ruth have departed from this earth but they left behind a great legacy. Steffey’s Pizza is still “Rollin’ In The Dough and Stuffing Pizzas Steffey Style” the same way it was back in 1963. So, come on in and enjoy a little Family Tradition.

I was recommended by a friend and I am very, very glad that I took them up on the recommendation. And if my job ever takes me to the area again, i will most definitely be stopping. I enjoyed myself a delicious pizza sub. Even though the wait time was a little longer than expected, it is very understandable when a business hones their skills in the food they make. Like they say all good things take time. The service is wonderful even though they were busy, my waitress routinely checked on me to make sure I was doing okay while waiting which I loved very much. The atmosphere of the location was also, very relaxing.Did not feel too crowded, it gave me a nostalgic feeling from back home which is kinda hard to find in today’s time with so many different types of restaurants and foods available to us. It’s always nice to find a location that can simply feel like home. As I skimmed through the menu, their pricing isn’t bad at all and in my opinion fairly priced with plenty of options to choose from. To my waitress who I did not get her name (i do apologize) but I do thank you for helping me out when I had to leave my food behind for a little bit when work called upon me. Thank you Steffeys for the good food and the short time I spent there.

One of the BEST pizza places!! We normally get the Uncle Roman (like a true Chicago style pizza) but didn’t have the 25 minute wait time to spare this visit. A lot of times we will call in the order before we leave the house. We enjoyed our medium pizzas on this visit. Our son had the chicken Alfredo Pizza and we shared a supreme. Also, Steffey’s is wonderful to help with the different school functions!!

A great experience on a day that I was extremely busy. It was nice to relax, work on my laptop and eat delicious food (pizza) by wonderful wait staff. It made the experience that much better. I will definitely visit again.

Worth the drive to Lavaca! The menu offered gluten free options. My friend ordered a pizza sun and a taco salad. I ordered a small 10 inch pizza with hamburger, mushroom, and fresh spinach. I learned that they have an isolated area in the back to prepare food for people with allergies. It is a big bonus to not have to worry about cross contamination. Our server Sydney was great and our drinks barley got to half full before someone would offer to refill them. There is a recreation room with a pool table also.

I came in on a hot day and was surprised how cool it felt in the backroom. The server was charming. I had the meatball pizza sub, it smelled very good. 😉 the crust was thin and slightly crispy. It was delicious, I will definitely be stopping by for lunch again sometime.

I get an hour lunch break. I sat down at 11:35 waitress didnt even acknowledge me for 20 minutes. The table I sat at already had their orders in. There were only 2 other tables that had patrons. 75% of the tables filled up before she even brought me a menu let alone took my order. People that showed up after me got their order taken and served 30 minutes before me and the table that was with me. I know for a fact only one of the tables were call ins. Staff was not attentive nor in any hurry to serve our orders. Would not recommend. This is the first time I’ve ever been here and it will bill the last

There is not a bad item on the menu! The food is something to crave. We were the only ones in the dining area. They service was very poor on a weekday but the pizza was so good it made up for it. I have faith this place is more lively on a weekend. We ordered a half cheeseburger and half supreme!

Today was my final straw with this place. The last five times I came here I am waited on by someone who won’t even speak to you, I waited over an hour and a half for my food, and when I did get it, it was almost burnt to a crisp. The owner refuse to honor the discount because it would lose her money. Not to mention I always have to wait while people come in after me and they always get their food before I do. Will not set foot back in here or any restaurant in Lavaca again.
