This place is legendary, it was the first place I ever got ice cream as a little kid 30 years ago. The watermelon sherbet has been my go to since I was young enough to have a memory. I’ve long since moved away from this area but I always make the migration back to have this ice cream. Recently my friend picked up a big tub on her motorcycle and brought it back for us on a random week night, this brought tears to my eyes. I cannot imagine a world where this ice cream spot does not exist. The ice cream made it all the way to NYC on the back of a motorcycle and still tasted fresh days later.

On our way home from NJ, we found the perfect rest stop… Jimmy’s! It is an old school style ice cream and more stand. They have all the toppings, soft serve, and hard ice cream. They also have food. There are very sturdy, roomy, concrete tables with umbrellas available where you can enjoy your food. A stream runs by the stand, and they have clean bathrooms. Aside from the view of the stream, there is a farm with a vineyard across the street. We enjoyed our ice cream and our stay! Definitely, check it out!

Closed for the season. This is a great classic drive in. I’ve only gotten ice cream there but they have a large menu. Outdoor dining with a small creek that the kids are allowed to explore. Wonderful people and family friendly.

Pretty good ice cream at Jimmy’s. We ordered small soft serve ice. Ream and a raspberry sorbet. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. The ice cream was good with a cone that reminded me of the past. I recommend visiting when in the area and we will certainly be back.

Stopped here while vacationing in Bucks County. This is a great spot for affordable and tasty ice cream. Staff was very friendly and they have a lot of ice cream options. Plenty of tables as well if you are looking for somewhere to sit. Definitely will be going back.

Only complaint:
I am severely allergic to walnuts, for me it’s a life threatening allergy. I came here tonight for the first time and got a cookie jar Sunday. Sunday was great no complaints there. The lady working makes my Sunday, i got called to the window and am told they cannot open a new hot fudge because they dont want to risk wasting it. (From a business standpoint I completely understand) she asked if i still wanted it. I said yes. I was okay. But I’ve been to ice cream places all over the state and have never been told they wouldn’t open up a new item for me. I completely understand like I said and im not upset. Just if someone like myself has a life threatening allergy id recommend coming earlier in the day, I came at 7:30pm.

BRING CASH! No credit cards taken. We learned the hard way. Beside that, this place is becoming a family favorite. Lots of outdoor seating. Food can take a bit when it gets busy, but time goes by quickly if you’re there on a nice day. It’s a beautiful area with a fun lil’ mini golf close by.

We visit every year from So.Jersey. It’s about a 2 hr drive…..so worth it. So many choices and everything is delicious. The last few years we have brought our grandson. Hoping to continue our end of summer tradition this weekend.
