It was crowded, which it often is, but the wait was not bad and the service was friendly. The drinks were delicious, and my veggie burger was so good. There were many other dishes we wanted to try, and we will definitely be back. I have been craving it since we went.
For the main course, we each tried something different to get a variety of flavors. I went with the chicken salad, which was fresh and well-balanced, while my friend ordered the chicken spaghetti and a hearty vegetable pasta. All three dishes were delicious and thoughtfully prepared, showcasing great taste and quality ingredients.
One of the highlights of the evening was the live music performance that began later in the evening, adding a wonderful ambiance to the dining experience. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, making it an enjoyable place to unwind.
Overall, the food, service, and setting at ONIEALS exceeded our expectations. I would definitely love to revisit this place and try more from their menu in the future.
Ordered the regular burger and Buffalo wings.
The burger was cooked to my liking, fires were inconsistently salted and a bit overcooked (I don’t personally mind the overcooked fries but for others it could be a turn off)
The Buffalo wings had a good kick of heat and crunchy. But it was a bit overcooked and way over salted. Which i can see the appeal in a bar place with some alcohol but it was just too much for me personally.
I had the downeast original blend and the park tea. Both were very pleasant. The downeast was a nice cider that wasn’t too harsh. The park tea is more on the milder side but it was nice. Tasted like a booze sweetie tea, which was what I was expecting.
Atmosphere was fine. It was perfectly average for Atmosphere.
Service: I actually liked the service. They were super attentive to me but to be fair I was the only one sitting in the back seating area. With that in mind the fact they checked in on me more than expected was good.
While the atmosphere resembles a casual sports bar, the pricing is more aligned with an upscale establishment.
We were seated at the bar, and our appetizer took approximately 40 minutes to arrive, the staff explained that the delay was due to a very small kitchen.
We also observed that the kitchen counter where dishes are plated is the same area where used plates from other tables are placed, which raises some hygiene concerns.
Draft beers are priced at $8.50 and served in narrow glasses, leaving us uncertain whether they contain a full pint as typically expected elsewhere.
Overall, the staff and food were satisfactory, but given the experience and value, we do not plan to return, despite being local residents who frequently dine out with friends.
The burger was very good – juicy, good flavor and cooked as I requested. The wings were average – dry (maybe overcooked) and a bit more hot (spice hot) than expected. They were good size though – just dry and more greasy than other places.
Bar was comfortably crowded and live music in the bar area.
