Incredible how you ask for chicken with green beans and they give you a whole can of green beans and a for small pieces of chicken. How can you expect a better review with this kind of scam. And, once again, it is supposed to be noodles with veggies not veggies with noodles. Throughout the day every time noodles are going to be made veggies should be adjusted. While traveling thru Birmingham, I decided to have a little fast food Chinese, so looked up the nearest Panda Express. I was glad I had looked it up on GPS, because it would have been difficult to find traveling south on Hwy 31. Kinda hidden from the road.
The storefront and restroom were clean.
The staff was working hard when I arrived. There wasn’t much in the way of interacting. I do like a smile sometimes.
Customers did not have to wait long in line to order, and the buffet was stocked with the options available for that day.
The food was pretty good. Not bad for fast food. The Angus steak was really good.

“Iliyan” was really sweet. He talked me into trying the “Watermelon-Mango drink”. I told him I didn’t like Mangos. But he suggested I try a small sample anyways… and I LOVED the drink. He was so kind and has a great personality. I’ve been coming here for years. This was my best visit yet! Thank you!

am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your Hoover, Alabama location on [insert date].
When I attempted to place my order, I was told that all food was “cooked to order” and would take 15–30 minutes. However, there were trays of food already on display. When I selected one of those items, the server then told me I could not have it because there wasn’t enough for a “full serving.”
This was both confusing and frustrating. On one hand, I was told to wait a long time for food that was supposedly being prepared fresh, while on the other hand, I was denied food that was visibly available in the serving trays. The inconsistent information and poor handling of the situation left me feeling that my business was not valued.
I believe customers deserve clear communication, consistency, and respectful service when dining at Panda Express. Unfortunately, my experience at the Hoover location did not reflect that standard.
I hope management will take steps to ensure better customer service going forward. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Employees don’t look happy to be at work at all. Waited for fresh rice. (No problem) But wish they looked happier and actually spoke to you.Also, got our food and they threw it in the bag. Bright side food was great.

Went in for lunch and ordered a plate – fried rice with orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp. The employees were efficient and very friendly. Even the dishes that had to be made up while we waited were prepared in a timely fashion and served with a smile. The tea was amazing (as always), and extra points for cleanliness . Eating at Panda is always a pleasure.

I don’t know why I’m taking the time to write a review for Panda Express right now, but wow. We just left the Hoover store and the customer service was so refreshing! Fast food places lately just have rude workers, but these people were awesome. Greeted us kindly, offered us samples, and were just kind. It was also really clean in there.
