Bertha’s is a straightforward family-oriented diner with a full bar that happens to have spectacular food from a wide variety of categories , including breakfast, lunch, and dinner items, Mexican, sandwiches, salads, and daily specials. My favorite special is on Wednesday when they offer prime rib in 3 sizes. The smallest (6oz) size is typically larger than that and therefore plenty for me, and rings in under $20 with green beans and mashed potatoes. I’ve eaten plenty of prime rib in my day, and this is absolutely the best currently available in Colorado. The staff and management are professional and friendly. They also do a great job with carryout. What I really appreciate is that they refrain from finishing your carryout order until you arrive to assure that it is still hot when you get home.

Nice restaurant in a neighborhood strip mall which seems to be popular. The menu includes some interesting choices. The French onion soup is good and a cup can be chosen as a side for a small extra charge. It was well worth it. The adult grilled cheese is different and very good. The pear and onions go well with the cheese. I’m glad I didn’t add the optional bacon though.

Service was very good here – fast and friendly. The space was a little dark if you were seated away from the windows, but not too dark. There are a few screens around the room showing varied programming without sound. They do have password protected Wi-Fi for guests.

Parking is available in a lot shared by the businesses in the strip mall and can be fairly full at mealtimes.

I was told about this place from a colleague who said it was the best place ever to get margaritas!
Every time I come, the better and better it gets!
Our server this last Saturday was amazing. She gave great recommendations! The drinks came out fast. Food took a little while but you could tell everything was made with care and it was amazing!! I took my mother for an early Mother’s Day celebration and she thought it was amazingly good!
I recommend to everyone!

Ps- my husband did say the enchilada sauce wasn’t his favorite but he ate all of it

I hesitate writing this review because I don’t want to lose our regular table 😉 Chef Jonathan is an A+ human and Autumn is our favorite server ever. GO TO HERE!

Everything was just ok, not great. When we showed up the patio was full but inside less then 50% of tables had people (likely because of the lack of AC). Still took 10+minutes to get seated. This really isn’t a Mexican food restaurant despite what the name might imply. Their margarita menu is one margarita with a bunch of add ons or upgrades, which are all listed without prices and you’ll get attitude if you ask for the prices. Had the shrimp tacos, they were mid. My friend ordered the carnitas special, meat was moist but surprisingly lacking on flavor. I would highly recommend other Mexican restaurants in the area over this spot. 7 Leguas on Colfax is 100 times better food and better quality and value margarita options with staff that’s always friendly.

We come here weekly. Best margarita in Denver. Everything is made from scratch. The absolute best neighborhood spot. We eat all over the country and it’s something we crave. Fantastic staff. Great food. Amazing value.

Loved this place! The service was amazing. I highly suggest sitting at the bar for a good time. Our bartender Bailey was amazing. She was fast and friendly. I ordered the chicken tenders appetizer but it was enough food to be a main course. My grandmother got the chrispy chicken salad that was also really good. The happy hour has really great prices. $9 Margaritas were great. Plenty of parking here too.

Love this place, comfortable, cozy, everything is good, literally. The Mexican food is excellent, the salads great, grilled veggies, chicken wings. And every burger served is excellent. No nouvelle cuisine here, but that’s the point. Great bar too, lots of televisions, and family friendly.

I’m not from Denver but it seems like a hidden gem!

Good atmosphere, Great food, and even better service. I’m posting their regular large menu, brunch menu, and weekend menu.

I only wish there was something to do in this area after dinner but I’m still discovering. I was too hungry to take a picture of my steak but I decided to take a quesadilla to go for later in case I can’t come back before my flight!
