The food and service were impeccable!! We made a reservation for 6:30 on a Saturday evening. When we walked in the place was packed, we were delighted the host walked us straight to our table with no wait. Corey was our server for the evening and he was absolutely perfect! Did not miss a beat! Really happy with our experience and cant wait to dine in again!

What a hidden gem! I recently tried Fish City Grill for the first time, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, the service (eventually) was good, and the food was absolutely amazing.
First impressions were great—both the restaurant and the bathroom were clean, well-lit, and tastefully decorated. We sat at a high-top near the bar, which felt cozy and inviting.
The service started off a bit rocky. Our server’s initial demeanor was cold and slightly rude when we mentioned it was our first visit and placed our drink orders. By the time our appetizers arrived, she had softened, and by the entrees, she’d completely turned things around. I just wish that friendly, attentive service had been there from the start.
Now for the star of the evening—the food. We started with the oysters, which were incredibly fresh. We also tried the FCG Sampler, and every bite was delicious. I followed that with fish and chips, asking for them extra crispy, and they nailed it. The batter was flavorful, and the fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. My husband had the fish tacos (can’t recall which kind, but they’re pictured below), and he raved about them all night—fresh, well-seasoned, and full of flavor.
Overall, I’m thrilled we found Fish City Grill and can’t wait to come back!

First and foremost hands down Lanita and Kevin are by far THE BEST servers they have at this establishment. Many changes for sure however, hands down these two make sure people are taken care of. From the food to the service to the atmosphere they make you feel at home. Lanita, is not only great at server but she’s the bomb behind that bar! I give flowers where is due! She listens, she knows your orders and she’s a good time! The people love her and so do I! That’s what keeps people coming back is being respected being treated with love and also with pure kindness!

Definitely one my FAVORITE locations since Las Colinas closed down! Service is top tier, quick and always delicious. Even the CRAWFISH is on point! I’ve NEVER had a bad meal here, which is why it’s one of my fav spots! Our waitress LANITA.. the absolute best! Very friendly, quick and accommodating and always has a smile on her face! If you were wondering if this is the spot, it is! Ask for LANITA!

If you’re looking for great seafood in a relaxed setting, Fish City is the spot. It has a nice, mellow atmosphere that’s perfect for a low-key dinner. The sampler appetizer and the seafood combo were both 10/10 and delicious.
What really made the night special was our server, Honey. She was amazing—so lively, friendly, and she really knew the menu inside and out. It’s a great place for an easy-going meal with top-tier service. I’ll definitely be back!

I love their shrimp and grits, and thats what I came for but it was not on the menu! It should not be a “special”, it should be on the menu always! So instead I had a shrimp poboy. It was good and full of shrimp so I was happy. But, put the shrimp and grits back on the everyday menu! Our server was “Honey” and she said yes that was her real name was a real firecracker! She was friendly and helpful. Jennifer brought us our drinks from the bar and she was also very friendly! Good experience!

Fish City Grill at Royal/Preston is one of our favorite go-to places for seafood. Everyone is extraordinarily friendly and the food is a tremendous value, which is hard to find. Lanita normally takes care of us. Her exceptional service and infectious smile keep us coming back!
