Brusketta Italian Cafe is one of those neighborhood spots that immediately feels welcoming. It’s small, cozy, and family‑owned, and the service makes you feel like you’ve been coming there for years.
I ordered the chicken Parm sandwich, and it was fantastic–crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor. The homemade potato chips were a great surprise too. My girlfriend’s penne with vodka sauce was so good she barely looked up from her plate, and my other friends loved the ravioli with the butter‑sage sauce and the spaghetti bolognese. The portions were a good size, and we took home leftovers.
The desserts were also to die for. I had a hazelnut cake that was light and delicious, and my girlfriends had the tiramisu. Nothing was left. Plates were cleaned!
Overall, it’s the kind of place you’re so so happy to have nearby in Pembroke Pines. Great food, warm atmosphere, and a team that clearly cares. I’ll definitely be going back.

If you are looking for tradition Italian food in Pembroke Pines, definitely check out Bru-sket-ta. It’s a small quaint restaurant with a traditional Italian aesthetic. When we walked in and seated, we greeted by the staff which were very friendly and helpful. We were told about their lunch special which had huge portions and great flavor. We ordered their calzone and Stromboli that you can stuff with whatever toppings and fillings you like. Their meatball appetizer was very good! 4 huge meatballs covered in tasty Italian red sauce. I can’t wait to come back to try more of what Bru-sket-ta has to offer.

Tonight they had a grouper that was amazing, perfectly balanced and although in a sauce, it managed to stay crispy to add to the flakiness of the grouper paired with steamed broccoli absolutely perfect. My compliments to the great staff and the craftiness of the chef.

Okay, let me tell you, everything at Bru-sket-ta was just PERFECT from the bread right down to dessert! I went with my family for Mother’s Day dinner and absolutely loved it.
We ordered the caprese salad (seriously the freshest I’ve ever had in my life!), the soup of the day which was homemade and so delicious, the eggplant parmigiana, fettuccini Alfredo, and fettuccini bolognese. Everything tasted super fresh and like it was made right when we ordered it.
And to top it all off, the desserts were incredible! We had the chocolate mousse cake and a deconstructed profiterole that were both just amazing.
The service was also spectacular. A big thank you to Pat for his recommendations and for taking such great care of us.
I 1000% recommend this restaurant!

This is a great spot with a welcoming staff and cozy interior that makes you feel right at home. Everything we tasted was freshly made and rich in flavor and texture. The calamari with shrimp and zucchini was perfectly battered and fried and was some of the best we’ve had. The braised veal stuffed ravioli was decadent with a velvety filling and crunchy pancetta topping. The thin crust pizza was also great with a crunchy crust, sweet sauce and deliciously salty mozzarella. This is probably our new go to pizza spot, that’s how good it was. We look forward to trying the rest of the menu and recommend this neighborhood gem to anyone serious about good Italian food.

Delicious! Such a cozy and welcoming spot. From the moment we walked in the door and the host greeted us, we felt at home. We started with an app (calamari) which was crisp and light and tasty then moved on to pasta (bolognese for me, veal ravioli for my fiance) accompanied by a nice cabernet and we left with full bellies and happy hearts, planning to come back again soon! A lovely find for our weekend staycation.
