I’m not exaggerating when I say these are the best enchiladas my husband and I have ever had. From the moment they arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The sauce was on point, The beef was perfectly seasoned and the cheese was melted to a golden perfection. Every bite was a perfect balance of flavor and texture that we’re still talking about.
What truly took our experience from great to exceptional was the service. Our server, was incredibly attentive and friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, warm and welcoming. They checked on us at all the right times and made us feel so well taken care of.
This restaurant is a must-visit. The combination of incredible food and outstanding service makes it a true gem

Came in hungry at 9pm on a Saturday. I immediately felt bad energy from the hostess where I was scared to eat. I ordered water and a modelo draft that came back with the model. O no salt, no lime. We had to send it back. They came back with barely any salt on it. I had to you take him to haven’t take it back again. The server came up at the very beginning, asking. If we’re ready to order we had just sat, I told him to give me a couple minutes next time. I know we’ve eaten all the chips. Saw the sheriff were come out a few times and everyone looked our direction. We ended up having to walk out because they wouldn’t give us any service

Was driving back to Houston with my brother and we wanted to sit down for dinner somewhere right off I-10. A quick google search had Earnesto’s just off the freeway but a lower “star” rating from couple bad reviews had us cautious , but we took a chance and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and came out fast. The server was very attentive with a smile every time she came by. The restaurant was busy but no loud and the overall experience was great. I took a minute to read some of the lessor reviews and saw it was mostly small things so I knew I needed to share our positive experience. If you are on the west side and want to have some authentic Mexican cooking. Make sure you stop by Earnesto’s!

Take out. exceptional customer service to order out. And to pick up after I’d walked a little bit and then was back on the road for another hour of driving. I would definitely recommend

Food was good. Sauce was a little too hot for my taste but good flavor. Service was excellent. Drinks were good. Overall a good stop.

We stopped in to grab a bite to eat because our regular place was closed. First appearances yielded a fairly normal Mexican restaurant as far as decor goes. The chips were crispy and the salsa verde was really good but the red salsa lacked flavor. The queso was really good as well. Overall the food was ok across the board but nothing I would com back for. On yo the food.
B2. Huevos Rancheros. 5/10
Topped with Ranchera Sauce Served with Beans and Tortillas.
The eggs were cooked perfectly but the ranchero sauce needed more flavor and a lot more ranchero sauce.
D17. Beef fajitas Burrito. 5/10
Topped with gravy, Cheese, Served with Guacamole, Rice and Beans
Overall the dish looked great but the burrito had a huge lack of flavor. The refried beans and rice were blah. They both really had no flavor at all which was a real letdown because I love rice and beans. The gravy was ok but the beef fajita was over dry and flavorless. Appearances in this case were very deceiving.
M4. Pechuga Poblana. 6/10
Chicken Breast topped with Poblano Pepper Sauce Monterrey Cheese Served with Guacamole Salad Rice, Beans and Tortillas.
Once again the dish looked great but we know how that turns out. The chicken was cooked nicely. The poblano sauce was void of flavor. That was a huge blow to the dish. The whole reason for ordering was the sauce. It was creamy but that was it. The beans and rice were already a no go.
It seams that if you like dishes with not much flavor then this place will be perfect. The customer service was good so I can’t fault them there. They even gave us a free cup of charro beans which was honestly the only thing that tasted good by itself.

Delicious food!! We came in around 4pm, not too crowded! But around 430, people coming in!! Happy hour 2 to 6pm Margarita only i think! Staff is really nice and server was quick!! They have a large dining area with tables and booth. Nice decorations bar!! Plenty parking as they are located in a shopping strio center. We will be back!

Stopped here for lunch on a Sunday, and was very pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of the Mexican food served here. Being from San Antonio, I love TexMex and this place has it! Borracho beans were served prior to the meal and they had a lot of juice and large chunks of mild jalapeños cooked into them. Delicious! My husband had the three crispy beef tacos and I had Enchiladas Verde. The flour tortillas were hot, because they had just come off the griddle. They were so good I bought a dozen to take home. The food and the service were excellent! Bathrooms were clean too!

Chicken fajitas were good. Fajitas come with onion and your choice of meat with pico, cheese, sour cream, chopped lettuce and guacamole. There weren’t any peppers served with the fajitas. I am used to having some cooked bell peppers with the onion, but this did not detract from the dish.
The only real ding I would give is the guacamole. It was not fresh and I don’t think it is made at the restaurant.
The rice was very fluffy and cooked well.
One point I thought was weird is there are signs saying that fajitas are $2.00 more due to food cost increases. Maybe the community can’t stomach such an increase without a reason, but in 2021 prices are up across the board. Would rather the menu just reflect the correct price and not be bombarded while walking in about a $2.00 increase. Just my out of town perspective.
Would visit again.
