My partner and I had visited the Barroco in Lakewood several times & it was a favorite. How did we not know about the one on Larchmere? As “east of Clevelander’s” I can not describe how thankful I am for this restaurant. The staff are incredible and we met the owner and I could tell he has so much love for what he and everyone there does. The food was incredible (as always). My drink was perfect. We just love everything about it and you can never go wrong with their guac. Our server Joseph was icing on the cake- helpful and personable. He also made food recommendation for my spouse and it came out as a work of art. Cozy but interesting aesthetic for dine in and is become dinning in. Please go and support good food but more importantly good people and local business.

Brianna P was amazing. She was super quick with her service and the restaurante is exceptionally beautiful inside and out. They also have a pizza business attached inside you can address if you don’t want some amazing Cuban food. Hands down the best in the area.I got the Punta E’ Carne. Like a steak pot roast with exploding flavor.

Very nice atmosphere and very nice staff/ servers.
I love how there are some couches to get comfortable sitting and enjoying yourself.
I just feel like its overpriced for what u get. The mojito is pretty darn good, but the margaritas are very small for the price. Their drinks are 14-15 dollars each lol. 3 drinks and 1 arepa for 1 person and my bill is $60 plus…. Yea too much for me to come back.

I loved my experience at Barroco! I ordered the Ropa Vieja dinner along with the cheesy corn dip with chicken—both were delicious. Brianna was amazing and very intuitive. She made sure everything was perfect and created a really great dining experience.

The food was excellent ! Reminded me of Little Havana in Miami. Mojitos were outstanding, with real sugar cane and the freshest mint! Service was great / Bre is an outstanding server, checking on us constantly, making sure everything was ok , and always noticed when we were ready for another drink. The atmosphere is also wonderful. This was our first time here and will definitely be back soon !

Joseph was an outstanding server! Friendly, checking in often, funny, and enjoyed his work. Food was quality, the ropa vieja arepa was generously portioned, well seasoned (esp with the spicy peanut sauce), the yucca fries are not substitutes for potato fries, they are their own flavor. Joseph recommended the banana split dessert, but we opted for the Chocolate Merengada which didn’t have much chocolate in it and came in an overside drinking glass, but did have ice cream and pineapple and whipped cream and a bazillion calories–5 of us couldn’t finish it–so, yeah, definitely try it.

Nice vibes. The food is great.
My only slight critique is that my arepa had most of the meat and cheese in the back, and all of the slaw up front (as you can kind of see from the picture). So the front was cold, and the back was hot.

Amazing scenery,Awesome Vibe, Seating available outside with fireplace. Food was outstanding. Lizette was knowledgeable and very attentive as a server. Definitely going back..Oh and those handmade cocktails were to die for! Thank you Barroco.
