This is some of the best ice cream my family and I have had since moving to NJ! The prices are great, and the selection is full of delicious, flavorful options. The staff was incredibly friendly and so patient with my little ones. We’ll definitely be back!

You can really taste the quality and care that goes into each batch. The variety of flavors is fantastic, and it’s the perfect treat on a warm day. Alaura’s Icecream is the best! I love the variety of flavors & vegan options! They also really load you up, like you get a lot of ice cream for your money. The ice cream flights are my favorite, perfect for sharing and the location is also a cute spot for a date date or a friend date.

Fantastic ice cream shop. Their flight specials on Wednesday cannot be beaten, 4 big scoops for 5 bucks?! A Pitman staple! Their service is fast and their flavors are fantastic. Root beer float is possibly the best dairy ice cream flavor I’ve ever had.
While their vegan flavors aren’t the best, they have improved considerably since I first tried them. Most shops in the area don’t even bother, so I appreciate the effort!

Delicious and unique handmade ice cream flavors. Reasonably priced and worth trying. Even the small scoops are generously sized. We used Alaura ice cream pies for my daughter’s birthday and everybody raved about them!

Vegan ice cream! They always have at least 2 vegan flavors available—not just sorbet—actual ice cream. It’s available in scoops or in cartons. I only wish that they’d make vegan versions of some of their more exotic flavors. Their French fries are surprisingly good as well, definitely worth a purchase. I only wish they’d make the incredibly simple switch to vegan mayonnaise, so I could’ve tried some of the more interesting sauces for the fries. Definitely check this place out when you’re in town.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday. I got a flight of chocolate, vanilla bean, Banana foster, and cookie butter crunch. The cookie butter crunch is to die for. The banana foster was ommmmgggggg amaaaaaazzzzzzziiiinnngggg. The vanilla bean could use a bit more flavor of “vanilla BEAN,” and surprisingly, I didn’t care for the chocolate ice cream. Overall, I enjoyed my visit. I will definitely be back again and again to try more flavors and will never leave with that cookie butter ice cream!

The homemade ice cream is fantastic! I would have given them 5 stars if they had not run out of multiple flavors; Plan for Demand!! Pitman is such a cute Main Street town. This place is worth a side trip.
